“Quiet little gem, close to the main square”

Fantastic experience at Riad Limouna! We initially contacted Riad Aquerzame but they were full and referred us to Riad Limouna. Turns out that many of Aguerzame's positive reviews were from the time it was managed by Antoine, who now owns Riad Limouna. We stayed at Riad Limouna for 3 nights over Christmas. We had two rooms, one triple and one single. The riad is in a fantastic location, easy taxi drop off, close to the main square, and with several great restaurants nearby. The rooms are a good size, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious. We had plenty of room for me, my husband, and our 12-year old daughter. The highlight of the property, however, is Antoine. He took such good care of us. He arranged for a pick up from the airport and met us as we were dropped off. After we settled in, Antoine gave us a map of the city and pointed out all of the major sites. He then walked us down to the square, pointing out landmarks along the way, so we would be sure to know how to get there and back. Antoine arranged two fantastic dinners for us and we had a fantastic meal with him on Christmas eve. If you don't stay here you should at least experience Antoine's fabulous cooking! I can't say enough about how great our stay at Riad Limouna was - Antoine is a gracious and knowledgeable host. Thank you Antoine!

Room Tip: All of the rooms I saw were great. Be sure to go up to the rooftop for a drink. The small pool in th...

Absolutely perfect... Small, quaint and very personal. The owner, Antoine, just isn't a host he became a friend. I travel abroad multiple times a year and once every now and then you find a gem... Well played Antoine.

“Marrakech at its best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 December 2011

This is the experience you want to have in Marrakech. Riad Limouna is perfectly located - 5 min from the main square - Jemaa El Fnaa, in the middle of Medina life, and still away from the touristic spots and shops, where you can see and feel the life of the city. Antoine is an amazing host and friend. His advice is always good, his calm and smile, his Moroccon - French recipes... we've been spoiled and well taken care of, and still let alone to experience the life of the city. We recommend Riad Limouna with all our heart!

“Wonderful French/Moroccon hospitality - the best of both”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2011

My friend and I stayed 4 nights at Riad Limouna and we had a wonderful time. Arriving in Marrakech was a bit of a culture shock and Antoine told us the essentials (price of a cab), showed us the way to the Jemaa el Fna and left us to explore the sensual and seductive wonders of the city.

When we were tired of the chaos we could retire to the cool tranquility of the Riad with its tiled internal courtyard, plunge pool, and rooftop terrace. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable and the food was amazing. I felt at home there, which is no mean feat.

I highly recommend this Riad. Thank you Antoine.

“Thank you Antoine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2011

We stayed here for our first and last two nights in Morocco and this riad helped make our Moroccan experience extra special. On arrival, Antoine sat my friend and me down with mint tea and home made biscuits and talked us through the local area. He then walked us to the Jemaa El Fnaa, which was incredibly helpful for first time visitors to Morocco and Marrakech. The riad is beautiful and peaceful, and an oasis of calm in the city. We had an excellent dinner on our last night and Antoine very generously shared his recipe for sardine tagine with us. I really recommend this place.
