very friendly staff - location is great - calm location even if djamma el fna is in 5 minutes walk distance - experience the spa!! best massage i've ever had with pooh from thailand (angsana).

From the moment you step through the door you are made to feel welcome and special. We enjoyed traditional tea before being escorted on a personal tour of Riad Si Said. Our room was pleasant and comfortable. The staff couldn't be more helpful. They arranged sight seeing trips, restaurant reservations and even introduced us to the shop keepers who had the items that we were looking to purchase. Only one slight criticism - the pools are not heated so we couldn't use them throughout our New Year stay. However, on the plus point, don't forget to book a spa treatment. The Moroccan black soap scrub and massage is a must ! The Riad Si Said is a great place to relax, away from the 'madness of Marrakech'. We had an amazing holiday.

This is a beautiful Riad with a quiet relaxed feel. The rooms are well laid out and generous size. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and other amenities excellent. There are several quiet areas to sit and relax and a lovely roof top garden. All these Angsana Riads are small which makes the stay relaxing, intimate and quiet. They are a welcome place to return to after the bustle of the old Medina area. The staff were outstanding in a quiet, courteous and helpful way. Always ready to help with advice or to escort you to the waiting taxi they had ordered, they always make you feel welcome and at home. In fact it is really like staying at a friend's wonderful foreign home, not like staying in a hotel at all. The food is excellent and we ate in both this restaurant and the Thai restaurant in another Riad in the collection. The spa treatments are varied and well carried out. All in all a great place to stay and highly recommended if you like a quiet gentle place away from the crowds.

We had a wonderful family holiday here with our two kids (12 and 13). The riad is beautiful, peaceful, and staffed with great people, nothing was too much trouble for Walid and his team. Well located only a short walk from everything we wanted to see yet tranquil and calm, food and service excellent, traditionally decorated without being kitsch, a very authentic experience. In addition Walid was fantasticly helpful in arranging the perfect trips outside of Marrakech, taking the time to understand what we wanted to see and do and making thoughtful recommendations. We will definitely be back.
