We spent four nights here, on a much needed break. We wish we could have stayed longer. One feels privileged staying at Casa Taos - not only because of the gorgeous setting and gardens, the orange and mandarin trees; the wonderful, home-made, healthful and abundant food, cooked with passion, expertise and a subtle hand, those heavenly breakfasts and sublime dinners, made with ingredients that come direct from the garden and orchard; the peace so welcome after a day in hectic Marrakesh; the beautiful, large rooms and bathrooms, the choices of materials and colours; the perfectly thought-out and impeccably, discretely executed service. But also because this is the hosts' actual family home, where they receive everyone with the utmost generosity, elegance, and warmth; and by the time we left we felt more like house-guests and old friends than like passing tourists. We can't think of a better way to enjoy and get to know this part of Morocco.
