My wife and I stayed at the Riad O2 from 26 to 30 November. We spent our first night in the "Oeuf" room, at one end of which lies a large, "Oeuf"-shaped bath-tub that matches, to a certain extent, an antique touareg double-bed on the other end. Unfortunately, the "Oeuf" was a lot more user-friendly than the bed: we were eaten alive, the first night, by bed bugs. We approached the staff in the Riad in the morning and were told that something like this had never happened before. The likely culprits, they thought, were a couple of hikers who had used that room before us and who had been trekking through the desert before their Marrakesh visit. The staff were both kind and helpful; they put us in another room and bought us some cream for the bites.. Also, on our last evening, the dinner (very good too) was "on the house", to make up for the hardships resulting from the encounters of that first night.. When we returned to Geneva, the managers (who do not live in Morocco but reportedly visit Marrakesh and their Riad at regular intervals) wrote and apologized for "the problem"....

We are really sorry for this unfortunate experience, we have since removed the old antique Touareg wooden bed and thrown it away as all the treatments applied had proven unefficient.
The Oeuf room has now a brand now extra large king size bed (180cm) , with new wood. Thanks god!
