We decided to stay at Riad Kaiss to take advantage of a deal and stay in a more special place during our visit to marrakech.

It is very beautiful in all the communal areas, the room was lovely too.

We went in winter so it was rather chilly anyway at night and the Riad is more suitable for the hotter months. There weren't that many people staying so it was fairly quiet, but at times it did get noisy. scraping of metal chairs above our room in the morning for cleaning wasnt so pleasant... - but i dont think they realise how much noise that creates in the room below. so hopefully they read this and find a way around it...

Breakfast was decent but at yr privilege... also rather too many wasp/bees on the roof terrace where breakfast was served. not sure how much they can do about that tho...

The shower only provided enough hot water for 1 person - second one in got a luke warm shower...

All in all it was a relaxing pleasant stay with excellent attentive service, which we much appreciated. The other things we didnt mind so much because of the discount we received on their site...

wouldn't really recommend staying in the medina more than 3 nights tho it is very polluted with trapped fumes from motorbikes whizzing up and down the alleys...

This delightful riad is about a five minute walk from the main djemma el fan square and very convenient for all the main tourist attractions. The door opens from the dusty street and you're transported to a different world of peace and calm in a green leafy courtyard fill of trees and with nice fountains and candles. The staff are all extremely polite and helpful. There are only 8 rooms which are all done up in authentic moroccan style and so much more atmospheric than a hotel with lovely furnishings and style but there are a few minor issues - In particular a small and cramped bathroom, the shower runs out of hot water rather quickly, dim lighting, peeling paint, the shower drips - which keep this from being a top 5 star review. Also, the breakfast served on the roof terrace is ok but i feel could be improved slightly. Overall, a very good atmospheric little riad but a few small steps prevent it from being excellent.

Riad Kaiss in Marrakech was a 5 stars experience in Marrakech.
The riad is at walking distance from the center of the medina, Djeena El Fna square and convenient for everything you can do in town.
Excellent arrival welcome, you feel immediately comfortable. The riad is cozy and very beautiful, attention to details and very nice and quiet gardens.
The room was large and well appointed with many small windows, a big barthroom and a small but nice little terrace.
Breakfast all home made, try it on the terrace from where you can enjoy a great view of the old town. There is also a small swimming pool on the terrace with a white and quiet relaxing area.
Staff incredibly nice and helpful.
A true quiet, luxory and relaxing spot in the most exciting city in Morocco.

My friend and I had heard so much about the special charm and architecture of the Riads in the Medina that we decided to splash out and stay in a really classy one. We did not regret it one second and absolutely adored Riad Kaiss! Apart from the really friendly and professional welcome (thank you Hayat!), we were totally taken with the tasty interior decoration and attention to detail as well as with the building itself. The quiet patio with its multicoloured tiles and luxurious vegetation, the romantic roof top, arched entrance ways, a few stairs up and suddenly you find yourself on a different little terrace, a house full of surprises...It was just wonderful to come back to such a beautiful and relaxing place after a day in the bustling souks and the location was just perfect. We will definitely go back !
