If something looks really cheap; there are reasons why it looks cheap!
This hotel is really aged and seems like has never been renovated.It may have been a 5* 20 years ago..the standards have since dropped to floor levels.
If you`re after a luxurious touch to your stay: please stay away from it. More of a 2*/3* place now.
Although some of the staff were friendly, the restaurants, food , club, swimming pool, and the rest seemed not appealing.
My suggestion will be to spend few more bucks and find a better option.

Un accueil tres chaleureux par tout le staff de l'hotel que ce soit a l'accueil, au restaurant, a la piscine, le service de chambre ou bien au spa.Un cadre magnifique cela fait du bien de se rechauffer le coeur quelque jour. y retourne bientot avec beaucoup de joie Adresse a recommander!!
D'autre part, il est bien situé au centre ville, et entouré de palmiers (une très belle vue).

After having read through the reviews on here, there are some valid points and some not so. This hotel probably is 5 star based on moroccan standards. The food isn't great, but it's not that great anywhere in marrakech. Yes taxi's will try rip you off, but there is always the bus.. Or barter... The location was ideal for us ( 2 females) as it got us away from the hassle of the local men constantly bugging us, i would not have liked being any closer to the main square. You can walk it to the new town which is much calmer than the main areas. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are dated but I didn't come across much in Marrakech that wasn't. Any issues I had were probably down to not being that fond of Marrakech, not the hotel itself.

We took a last minute break to what we thought was going to be a Birthday Beau. The hotel cannot be blamed for the ghastly weather which rained every single day. All in all the hotel had some faults but was a decent escape from the beggars and con artists which seem to haunt you everywhere you go. We did struggle with the food and lack of tea / coffee facilities. Having waited for over 45 minutes for 1 tea & 1 coffee to find that the milk was off and paying 40 Dirhams (£3.12p) + tip each time. There is no information in the rooms to identify times for breakfast, etc. The hotel's position does not bode well for the main attractions therefore Taxi costs need to be catered for(be very careful they will try to get every possible dirham out of you). Unfortunately we could only get the movie channel on the TV and as my partner suffered a serious bout of food poisoning we were stuck in the hotel room for the last day. the hotel mainly caters for the French with very little signage in English. The upshot is : A clean hotel, friendly staff, very cold in bad weather,
