We stayed here as part of a meeting taking place in the Palais des Congress next door. In that regard, the location was good, but it is a long walk from the Medina and any other more interesting locale. It is kinda of a pain taking taxis because you have to negotiate the cost with the driver before you ride, they never use meters, and of course you are being overcharged; it adds to the constant bargaining that goes on and, for me, loses its charm after awhile.
The hotel bills itself as 5-star, I don't know what standard would qualify that; certainly not any measure I am aware of. The hotel is spread over lovely grounds and, from the outside is appealing. But, the interior and rooms are in need of major spiffing up. Dirty carpets, stained bathroom marble floors and counters, peeling paint, stained walls, rotting cabinets. All seemed somewhat seedy, tired, and un-clean.
On a positive note, the food was surprisingly good. Good breakfast buffet and excellent dinner in the Moroccan restaurant. Free wifi is available in the lobby, otherwise you have to pay for a timed card for use in your room or other area.

I travel for business and vacation quite a lot and I have experinced a lot of places. By far one of the worst hotel I have stayed in. Rooms are old, evrything is litterally falling apart, chairs, lamps missing. Really bad searvice. A disgrace for the price! Stay here only if they charge 20 euros/night, paying more than this amount is a BIG rip-off.

Great hotel - location is good. Rooms r fab for wat u need it for. Great choice of pools. Really big and spacious and so if u not lookin for hands on attention u can't go wrong here. Price is worth it and would stay again

We stayed at the mansour for 4 nights in october 2011 half term. we booked 3 rooms for our large family. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. The breakfast was very fulfilling and with a wide variety of choice. The pools were beautiful with fountains and deck chairs, although the water was too cold to swim. The hotel has a feel of empirical sumptousness with huge pillars and many lounges to relax in. In the evning we would often sit and relax in one of the lounges and live soothing guitar and arabic music would be played. Overall a lovely hotel near all the amenities including Mcdonalds, KFC and a host of other dining places near the train station. In the evening one could walk along the Mohammed the vi wide rose lined boulevard and view the snow capped Atlas mountains-waht an experienc! Mr M Khalid, Nottingham
