The riad's website does not do this place justice - it was a wonderful riad with a great courtyard to relax in and very hospitable hosts who provided us with information not just about Fez but also some great cultural insights. Room was very nice and so were the meals...

We stayed two nights and very well looked after indeed. The staff were very helpful and courteous and our room was clean, tidy and well presented. Our hosts were incredibly helpful giving us plenty of information about the local area and the country - plus they spoke good english which offset our very poor french. We ate a meal in the riad which was absolutely delicious and mint tea was lovely. Its location was good too - only 10 mins walk from R'Cif so handy for the medina and taxis. We couldn't fault our stay and would happily stay here again and recommend to our family or friends.

This riad gives you a very nice place to stay in Fes. Rooms are tasteful decorated. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Meals are excellent, but more expensive than in the medina.

I read the previous reviews, and thought, "well there's always a few bad ones, but it looks generally ok" - NO. There are many other Riads that are as good, heed our warning! Somebody with access to our room couldn't resist rumaging around my girlfriend's bag to steal her used underwear...! We couldn't believe the audacity of it. Didn't take any actual valuables mind, but unless you don't mind some gross man sniffing your girlfriend's lingerie late at night, I'd STAY WELL AWAY. Avoid if you've any sense - especially if you are a lone female traveller.
