“Gorgeous Riad”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 November 2011 via mobile

Like most Riads... The real fun is walking into the atrium for the first time. Riad Myra did not disappoint. The place is gorgeous. The rooms spacious. The staff is very attentive.

The breakfast each morning is full of delicious breads and spreads. We even spent one evening drinking a bottle of Moroccan wine on the roof.

Oh yeah, unlike some other Riads... If you give it a minute, the water really does get hot.

“My favorite Riad in Morocco”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 October 2011

I'm not sure why this Riad isn't more highly ranked at Trip Advisor. The room was very spacious with a foyer, living room/ wine area, and the bed. The bathroom was very large, albeit poorly lit.

The Riad itself is a beautifully done old Fes mansion with several rooms. They offer wi-fi in the lobby and a great breakfast. The staff are amazing. I wish I remembered her name, but one of the employees helped me catch a taxi in Fes. Turns out that the idea of "waiting in line" is foreign to the populace in Fes and she did everything she could to get me one. She even shoulder checked a guy 4 times her size. Really great customer service.

It's located right in the middle of the medina in a quiet little alley, but is close enough to everything. Don't be afraid to get lost and stay away from the "official guides" who will only take you to shops to rip you off! Would definitely stay here again.

“A beautiful Riad right in the medina”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 May 2011

Outside is a dingy alleyway but behind the huge front door is amazing--a little piece of Fez magic! Beautifully traditional in presentation in every way -you can feel the history. Our room was very spacious which was ideal for a three day stay. The public areas are spacious and airy and a great place to relax between visits to the ancient medina which is an extremely convenient one minute stroll from the front door of the Myra. Staff are eager to please and help with any questions. Both of us needed a massage and I was delighted with a very good rub down. The only negative (and its a small one) is the lighting levels in the room are quite low. Beds are comfortable and there is no noise at night. Would definately stay there again

“Beautiful inn near main entrance to the Medina in Fes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2010

Our tour group of 12 stayed in this beautiful inn about 5 minutes' walk from the main entrance to the Medina. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, and we felt as if we had stepped back in time (but with modern bathrooms). Our room was The Favorite; the other I saw that was equally beautiful was The Concubine. We also had dinner at the riad 2 nights, and it was very good. The riad is, like many things in Fes, down an alley and a couple of turns, but I am sure they would send someone out to guide you (staff speaks English and is very helpful). It is worth finding it because it is such a great location for exploring the Medina (Hotel Batha is nearby on the main street). www.riadmyra.com; info@riadmyra.com
If you stick to the two main "streets" of the Medina, you won't get lost, but you also will miss some things worth seeing. I would suggest a guide for the first half-day. We also took a side trip to the Roman ruins at Volubilis, which were well worth seeing and an interesting drive.
