“A good hotel for overnight stay in Casablanca”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 August 2011

I have stayed at this hotel on four occasions when I have travelled in Morocco. It is a good budget hotel. If people expect four star service and accommodation they should book four star accommodation. The hotel is clean and comfortable. It is very well located for visiting the tourist areas of Casablanca. I have always found the staff to be helpful and friendly which is typical of Moroccan hospitality. The food is traditional Moroccan and I have always been very happy with the meals I have eaten there. I am very happy to recommend this hotel.

“They stole, they are dirty and they don't know a thing called "service business"!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 May 2011 via mobile

We entered late to the hotel like 11 pm. Before eating something we wanted to use the toilets near the restaurant. They were so bad that we could not use them!!
In the rooms, the sheets were not clean, they changed it. The morning coffee was cold and not fresh, they did nothing. Above all they stole my aliminium water bottle from the restaurant where I left it the other night! Our driver had seen the bottle and warned the restaurant to leave it to the reception so that I could take it from there in the morning, but the guy said it was ok. In the morning the personnel changed and there was no news from my bottle. More interestingly, the manager yelled at me when I complained!! It was the worst treatment in my 9 days stay in the country.

“The location was all it had going for it”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 November 2010

The staff at this hotel were the most unhelpful I encountered in my 2 week stay in Morocco. They completely ignore you and continue to talk amongst themselves or to their friends when they can see you standing there waiting. The bed was hard as they all are in Morocco. There was good shower pressure & temperature though. The sound in the hallways echos and you can hear street noise so light sleepers will not get a decent nights sleep. The breakfast was sticky pastries, fake orange juice, olives, cheese & bread - which turned out to be pretty standard fare in Moroccan hotels. The location was great though, right near the Medina.

“Totally OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2010

Neither bad or good. Morocco Clean-meaning they don't bother with walls or corners, etc. If they don't expect you to touch it, why bother cleaning it. The people seemed friendly, but were unable to direct me to a place for toiletries.( There is a supermarket 5 blocks away, and a little store 2 blks from hotel.)
The room was large with big furniture, but just something was off.
Breakfast was an uneventful bread and hard boiled eggs.
I was with a tour, so not sure the price, but it was ok and in a decent location. I walked to the Medina and other places of interest.
WifI in the lobby only.

“Good location but the hotel is in need of renovation”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 May 2010

This was the hotel chosen by our tour group to start and end our tour of Morocco. Surly reception staff a room that the lights and air conditioner didn't work sum up the experience.

I don't think any of the airconditioners actually work in any of the rooms.

It is is in a good location but it is in need of renovation of the interior and of the staff. The receptionists all of them seem to be uninterested in you when you approach them, even for a simple request.

Breakfast is basic to say the least. There are no laundry facilities and the staff won't give you directions to a laundry.
