This hotel badly needs an overhaul. The guys at desk constantly try to sell you something or try and get you a cab for commission. You need to open the windows of the rooms to get a cool breeze because the air-conditioners are controlled centrally even though you have a thermostat in the room. The only good part was that it was located very close to the Hasan II mosque, walking distance.
We got a cab for the airport and I asked the reception guy twice if the agreed upon price includes all costs and he said yes. The next day we get to the airport and the cab driver asked us an additional 50 dirhams as the reservation charge. I kept a stern face and had to tell him thrice in a serious voice that I was not going to give him any extra money and left. After a great trip through the country and meeting such nice people, people like these leave a bad taste.

I read some reviews form previous guest and I was scared at first to go to the hotel. When I pulled up the outside was not appealing and I braced myself for the worst. When I walked it, I was presently surprised. It is a very nice hotel The staff was very pleasant and they spoke good english which was a plus. They gave us a room on the 12th floor, last floor, and it had a wonderful view. There was a nice bed, very spacious bathroom, and a sitting area near the window. I would say that the air conditioner didnt get too cold. It was very hot, so I slept with the window open. They had a bar but it did not serve anything except beer and whisky. The resturant there closed at 10pm, they had all the drinks in there. They had a nightclub that was closed for the day, but it looked nice from the outside looking in. The breakfast in the morning was not bad. It had alot of different things to eat, including soup which was weird to me, but It was different. The location is down the street from a major bus station area that takes you all over casablanca. There are several stores for shopping and eating in walking distance. Overall, I would stay again. I enjoyed my stay.

This hotel is old and it shows. I paid $75 a night and that was too much for a place like this. The bathroom had hair all over the floor. The breakfast was just so so. One day it had meats and cheeses and the next day it didn't. The second day it looked like it was what was left from the day before. The lobby is the nicest part of the hotel. There are cigarette burns in all the furniture in the lobby and the room. Also had cigarette burns in the bedding. Wifi is only available in the lobby and it didn't work most of the time. I would stay some where else for cheaper.

Probably chic in the 1970s, this place hasn't moved one inch since then. Dim lighting & tinted mirrors everywhere hide some of its faded glory. Needs a major facelift. Room fridge didn't work & the waiter got a shock trying to see what was wrong. Bed was fine, had a good night's sleep. 3 out of the 5 restaurants were closed for 'renovations'. Overall, a pity the whole place wasn't closed for renovations. One to avoid unless you're a 'post hippy' trying to relive the past.
