“Don't rely on web reservations”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 October 2010

I'd like to review the hotel but I never got past the lobby. Despite my pre-paid web reservation 5 days earlier via Easy Click Travel, they had no room for me. They were very courteous, had my taxi held and sent their doorman with me to the Hotel Rivoli and arranged for a room there, all at no extra cost to me. I had this same experience with a different web service (hotels.com) and a Casablanca hotel several days later so I suspect that it's just a common local practice. Knowing that, I'd always call the hotel on the day of arrival and confirm that they actually have a room.

“Stayed here as part of a WebTourmaroc Tour”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2010

First stayed here as part of webtourMaroc 10 day tour this was our first night and the last night of the tour.
if you book with webtourmaroc be prepared to treat by the tour guide as some sort of mindless individual where he attempts too control what you do daily usually to front one of his little commision scams and be prepared to be ripped off daily.
More later
The hotel is tired it is in need of a refurb .The staff were friendly and helpful.(Usually working hard for the tip as appears to be their culture)
Try and get a front street room it was good the side street room with large balcony nice but the stench from the side street was overpowering.
food was OK..(in fact compared rest of trip good)
we moved on too the Oumil Hotel Rabat read on!! if you are going to follow my tour

“Affordable but dumpy”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 July 2010

Spent one night here en route to airport. It was definitely on the more affordable side of listings (about 70 bucks) but as others say, NOT a four-star hotel. Lobby is nice, bar/restaurant decent, but the room was bad. Bathroom cabinets missing knobs/handles, cover plates falling off electrical outlets, noisy & ineffective air conditioner that dripped water on the carpet making a musty smell, peeling paint, dingy carpet, very inconsistent internet, cable TV signal kept fading out. When I checked out and still owed a 40 dirham room tax, the desk clerk wouldn't break a 100 dirham note for me, acting like it was a huge inconvenience to him & making me rummage for a 20 note and two 10 dirham coins which I was hoping to keep for cab fare and tips. What kind of hotel can't break a what is basically a 10 dollar bill? A lousy one, that's what. This is like some Econolodges in rural America at best.

“Budget hotel in Casablanca”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 June 2010

Fairly good hotel located in the heart of Casablanca city. Casa Port train station is about 15 mins walk. The rooms are clean and descent. Its good for the price you pay.
Hotel also has a Lounge bar. However, hardly any staff knows English in the hotel and as a result it creates a lot of problem. There is free wi-fi internet but half the time it keeps dropping and the bandwidth also sucks..

“dont ever stay here”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 March 2010

the pictures on the net look nice but wait until u get there it is horrible. The wifi does not work and wen you ask the staff dont care. My dogs kennel smells better. They checked us into a room that you could not sleep in because it was smelling of damp it became so hard to breathe. The bathroom was so poor and as soon as you walked into the room it was like the door had not been opened or the room had not been used in years please do not visit or stay at this hotel. It does not look nothing like the picture at all.
I think this was the worse hotel i have ever stayed in.
