A very average hotel . At maximum a 3 star rating and that too I think I'm being extremely generous. The staff is very polite and extremely courteous EXCEPT the evening shift guard called Hicham. He too is extremely courteous but takes cut or comission in everything he does from getting a pack of cigarettes to hailing a cab for you ( He seems to have specific cab drivers-even the red cabs- who he gets a cut from), therefore, beware fo this fellow and don't ask him to do anything for you. The morning guy is much nicer and honest. The hotel is certainly not worth the Euro 80 they charge and the breakfast is certainly not worth the Euro 9.00 they charge. The location fo the hotel is great and might be the only positive ( apart form the polite in house staff). All in all I believe the much newer Novotel-just 100 yards doen the road- would be amuch better and reasonable prices option the next time I am in Casa. Finally- if you do need a cab for the full day or to go to another city, just walk across the road towards Pizza Hut and you'll find many white mercs parked- they're all cabs. Try asking for Moufariss [--] - I found him to be extremely honest and reasonable in his rates among all the other cabbies.
