“Nice view on the ocean, but the service let us down”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 August 2011

We spent 4 days in this hotel during August 2011. The hotel is very 80s looking and rather dark, but it is overall clean and quite pleasant. The room had an ocean view which is the plus point of the hotel. Breakfast was ok, i would say a little disappointing for quantity and variety for a 4 stars hotel.
The service and the reception staff was totally disappointing. On the last day we asked the receptionist to call us a taxi for 4.30 to go to the airport. We got back to the hotel at about 3.30 to have a drink on the terrace before leaving, and at 3.45 another member of staff told us that the taxi had already arrived. When we explained that we had requested the taxi for 4.30 he shouted that the taxi driver would have charged us for the time we were wasting. After a long explanation, he admitted his colleague got the time wrong and booked the taxi for an early pick up time. This was really disappointing.
All in all, i would recommend this hotel, but beware the staff...!

“Lovely, Friendly, Clean, ideal location....what more do you want?”

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of July on half board basis. On arrival, there was a problem with my reservation, I booked through alpharooms, who book through a french company-the hotel did not recognise alpharooms, but after an email to England it was soon sorted.

We were taken to our 2 rooms, which were very clean and spacious. Stunning views of the beach/sea-perfectly located! Dumped our cases and headed straight for the beach-perfect!

Ain Diab beach is very lively-every 2 minutes there are people walking by selling things from buckets and spades, ice lollies to henna and tissues-it's quite surreal! No hassle to buy from them- a friendly no thank you and they are on their way again.

At night, the promenade becomes alive with people walking and selling candy floss etc. It's quite magical and a fantastic atmosphere. I did however, find there were more homeless people begging and sleeping on the streets than I saw in Marrakech, Agadir and Essaouria, but again they don't bother or hassle.

Back to the hotel. The rooms were perfect! Could ask for better. The air-con was fantastic, but our maid turned if off when she cleaned.... Views were stunning, beds were comfy.

Pool is small, and deep, but we went at the end of July and my kids were the only people in it most of the time! There are sunloungers parasols and chairs around the pool area.

Dinner-the menu was all in french, but our waiter spoke good english-seafood salad, soup or omelette for starter; chicken, fish or 'grilled meat' for main followed by fruit salad, ice cream or creme caramel for dessert....excellent-I'll go for the grilled meat....It's only steak and chips!!! Heaven!! My daughter went for the ice-cream for dessert and it was huge!

Breakfast, pastries, pancakes, juice, coffee, yoghurts-all very good!

I honestly can't fault this hotel. Friendly staff, lovely roms, lovely hotel! Free wifi in the reeception.....what more do you need?? Enjoy

“Good value for money”

This hotel is in the new and 'posher' part of Casablanca. Very friendly staff and sufficient breakfast buffet with fresh orange juice and lovely mint tea. Our room was actually a suite:O))) with a big bedroom and another big sitting room and 2 flat screen tvs. Everything you need is provided in the bathroom (towels, shower gel, body lotion...)
The hotel is right next to the beach and close to lots of bars and restaurants. All in all we enjoyed our stay there very much -even tho there is not really much to see in casablanca - except the beautiful Mosque Hassan II. Free indoor car park!!! But u need to be a pro at parking as its very tiny:O)

I was in Casablanca for business and I stayed there from my first step at the hotel I felt home, the bellman with a smile, the front office and customer service is number 1, the General Manager greeted me with the real Moroccan hospitality, he introduce me to all the family, the food in the restaurant was great. The Bar at the pool was great, great bartender services and recommendation. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and relatives all over United State of America. This is a number 1 hotel.

“gross”

This hotel is disgusting. It is so dirty, smelly, and old, I was absolutely horrified. The concierge was rude, the mats at the front door were filthy, and the carpet in the rooms must be 30 years old. How can a hotel be this close to the beach, and yet smell only of stale cigarettes?
