Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of July on half board basis. On arrival, there was a problem with my reservation, I booked through alpharooms, who book through a french company-the hotel did not recognise alpharooms, but after an email to England it was soon sorted.
We were taken to our 2 rooms, which were very clean and spacious. Stunning views of the beach/sea-perfectly located! Dumped our cases and headed straight for the beach-perfect!
Ain Diab beach is very lively-every 2 minutes there are people walking by selling things from buckets and spades, ice lollies to henna and tissues-it's quite surreal! No hassle to buy from them- a friendly no thank you and they are on their way again.
At night, the promenade becomes alive with people walking and selling candy floss etc. It's quite magical and a fantastic atmosphere. I did however, find there were more homeless people begging and sleeping on the streets than I saw in Marrakech, Agadir and Essaouria, but again they don't bother or hassle.
Back to the hotel. The rooms were perfect! Could ask for better. The air-con was fantastic, but our maid turned if off when she cleaned.... Views were stunning, beds were comfy.
Pool is small, and deep, but we went at the end of July and my kids were the only people in it most of the time! There are sunloungers parasols and chairs around the pool area.
Dinner-the menu was all in french, but our waiter spoke good english-seafood salad, soup or omelette for starter; chicken, fish or 'grilled meat' for main followed by fruit salad, ice cream or creme caramel for dessert....excellent-I'll go for the grilled meat....It's only steak and chips!!! Heaven!! My daughter went for the ice-cream for dessert and it was huge!
Breakfast, pastries, pancakes, juice, coffee, yoghurts-all very good!
I honestly can't fault this hotel. Friendly staff, lovely roms, lovely hotel! Free wifi in the reeception.....what more do you need?? Enjoy
