“TERRIBLE, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 December 2010

I would consider this a 2-star hotel at best. The room was dirty, bathroom had mold in the shower, could not turn the shower on, towels were old and used up. We asked for a hair drier and they said they didn't have one. The street was very noisy and the windows are old so you feel like you are sleeping on the street. They don't provide any transfers (airport, train station).

They charge a 4-star price with a 1-star service!

“Keep your expectations low for best results”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2010

Just realize that 4 star standard in Morocco is not the same as, say, Paris. The room we got had a leaky toilet, but the AC worked and there was a fridge, TV and overall cleanliness was acceptable. Amenities are minimal and the restaurant is crap. It is a little bit of a walk (30-40 mins) to the Hassan Mosque and the Medina, but like I said, if you are just looking for a place to sleep, it's not bad.

“Not bad for one or two nights”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 September 2010

My partner and I stayed here during a two week trip in Morocco. It was our first night, we'd just landed and we needed sleep. There was evidence os some blood on the walls as we entered the room, but this was unlikely to be anything more than a young child wiping his nose before leaving the room. I don't think it would have taken much effort for the cleaners to wipe it off, but there you go.

Breakfast was typically Moroccan - hard boiled egg, bread, pastries, juice and coffee....what more do you need?!

I would not advise you to stay here for a week's holiday, although I'm afraid I don't have anywhere in Casablanca to compare this place with. It seems quite an expensive city when comparing with other places in Morocco, so shop around.

“Noisy and Dim, But Clean”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 June 2009

Although the interior is very nice and the place is quite clean, I think the 4 star rating is wildly optimistic.

The rooms seemed dim and stuffy. We couldn't really open the windows because of the noise coming from the disco until 3AM-- it was too loud even with the windows closed!

To top it all off, there was a very loud and violent beating in the alley outside the hotel; there appeared to be no permanent damage, except to my comfort with the hotel and its location.

“DON'T GO THERE...AVOID IT !”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 May 2009

My and my girlfriend choosed to go Morocco for a culture and romantic trip, but...damn...what a bad surprise. Despiting the city, which is aweful, the Hotel is an old and ugly building (makes sense that their pictures are blured), and the bathroom STINKS like poluted water. We couldn't leave the door opened. The balcony exist...yes...full of pigeon "caca" all around...and No cleaning !
What U see over the window looks like a favela in Brazil...serious.

We arrived on may 1st to stay 5 days...but we left on the next day, back to Lisbon. We didn't care about the money we left for the rest of the stay. Runaway was the right thing to do.

Oh...need to say something about the breakfast ?? Forget it.
