me and my partner travelled to this hotel, looking for a quite break and some good weather. we totally got what we went their looking for plus more. Agadir is a fairly cheap place to visit, with taxi prices costing no more than £2-£5GBP.
the only thing i could say that the hotel needs to dramatically improve on is the food and variety of different types of food they offer.

We had a lovelly time in Agadir. The food in the restaraunts was really really good and reasonably priced. Stayed in this hotel for the Christmas. They did a nice job of the Christmas Dinner. Room was nice and the staff really good. The problems though. The hotel is in the middle of no where amongst building sites. 15 minutes walk to the beach and an hour walk to the town. Taxi's were cheap. But needed too many of them because of the location. The food in the hotel other than Christmas was OK. But very very expensive. Wine and other alcohol was extremely expensive as well. On top of that it was watered down and spirit measures were misserable. Eg € 8 for a brandy that was half water and the measure was probably half a standard Irish measure. Go there by all means. But don't eat or drink in the hotel unless you have to. We complained and thge manager gave us a 20% discount straight away and explained that they charged 4 star hotel prices. But the hotel is not 4 star. The food was not 4 star quality and 4 star hotels do not water down the drinks.

Location
- great location just a few minutes walk from the beach and 5 minute taxi ride to the market/shops and restaurants (taxi's are reeaally cheap 1 or 2 pounds!!)

Hotel facilities
- the pool was so lovely because it was sea water
- I didnt use the spa but the prices were very reasonable just not as competitive as other spas in Morocco
- don't bother waxing/hair/nails before your holiday because the prices are soo cheap!

Food
-we had half board (breakfast and dinner) but we ended up paying for lunch at the hotel most days as the prices were very reasonable
- breakfast was the best meal of the day for sure waffles and fruit and pancakes very yummy

Entertainment was a mixture of dancers and a cringey singer :| (if u want proper entertainment or a really lively hotel this is not the place!)

I would advise going on the excursions we went to the atlas mountains and to Marrakech. It sounds tiring going there and back in one day but it is the most amazing experience it made the holiday.

If you want a nice relaxing holiday I would advised hotel timoulay. It really is soo lovely. The other hotels in Agadir just don't compare... Btw don't bother pay more for a hotel on the beach as the beach in Agadir is disgusting!!!!!!! :0

My husband and i spent xmas in Timoulay. We loved every thing about it. Our room was very spacious, we had a balcony over looking the pool. The hotel is spotless. The staff are extremely nice and very helpful. The food is delicious, being a vegetarian I had no problem. The drinks are expensive and the evening entertainment is very dull but it didn't spoil our stay. I loved the Spa, it's like being in another world, very relaxing. There is a hotel being built next door but that is not Timoulay's fault. It wont always be a building site. It has a nice steady walk to the beach. My husband is a keen swimmer but was put off the pool as it was not heated and was freezing. We would defintley stay at the Timoulay again.
