“Dont go there”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 August 2010

Arrived after a long date travelling including flight delay, to find that the hotel was in the sticks, the owner of the hotel was drunk. Herman the Monster showed us to her room and we found there was no fridge, or AC, the room was extremely hot, the bed was a large lump of concrete covered by a sheet and two blankets,.

The follolwing morning we went to breakfast to be told by the owner that we were the only ones in the Hotel and she had no cooks,m but was willing to cook us ratatouille,
Both swimming pools were dirty, the room and bathroom/wc was extremely filthly.

If you had young children I would be very concern because there is no security.

“Clean< Green peaceful machine!”

Some people will complain about surroundings, but that's the real Morocco so stop being so snobby! I thought they were Ok to be honest, and if they wanted to go to tourist areas then why not get a bus to the badwa for only for 4 dirhams! Then a petit taxi from badwa to beach is about 20dh on meter, max! Divided by three it's like 50p. I liked the surroundings, and the peacefulness of it to be honest. Walked home at night and made friends in the local areas. If you;re not ethnic that won;t be for you but the place will. It's based on green tech and traditional design. It is clean and conformtable, and staff are excellent. The guardian doubles up as an errand boy who got my phone topped up, etc! The main thing is it is far enough for some peaceufl sleep, but not too far to get there. The best thing about the hotel is that the design is immense, and the gardens are sick! I might even host my wedding there. Need I say more!?

“Do you really want to stay in an empty hotel???”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 July 2010

Our initial impression of the hotel was good until it got further into our stay there. When we arrived at reception we was just given key to our room and not shown where anything was and had to go on a mission to find things or ask!
The hotel was completely empty and we were the only guests there, could not use indoor pool as was not open or heated like it said, was bloody freezing, could not use outdoor pool as it was filthy and I mean really discusting. Hotel did not offer anything that it advertises, no entertainment, was told could no use hotel bar for security reasons by drunk hotel owner ( madam ) likes her drink and is very offensive when shes had a few. Was like staying in a ghost town, also situated right next to grave yard and US army base where planes regularly come and go and set off main road into Agadir on a side road. Had to get taxis to and from beach or town centre daily as too far to walk. You can get cheaper , better hotels that are right on the beach front if you look hard enough. In conclusion this is the worst hotel experience I have ever had and I'm not usually one to complain, but there was no one in the hotel, no atmosphere, could not use any of the ammenities at all and I mean none! Hotel owner who lives there was so rude beyond belief so its no wonder she has no guests. I was so appalled by this experience as it ruined what was supposed to be a short relaxing break from work for me and my partner I ended up sending a complaint to the holiday company with photos asking them to consider taking it off their list as it offers nothing that it states on its description NOTHING!
Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Please dont hesitate to contact me if you want to see the real pictures and not the ones that are advertised ( paulhutson60@yahoo.com )
oh and almost forgot to mention the great hotel security, two old men with wooden sticks, and one evening heard them chasing intruders within the hotel complex in the early hours of the morning, very very scary as the hotel buildings have no security pass access and they could quite easily get your room with out being spotted!!

“What a mistake”

I will never forgive myself for staying in this hotel. The hotel is clean and only 20 minutes drive away from the centre. The surrounding is like being in Beirut or Afghanistan. Scary people around asking for cigarettes and change
Reception staff so helpful they will do any for you or even try to do some thing to you.
I felt very unsecure and unsafe there.

“A real haven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 March 2010

We stayed here for our last night in Morocco - it is very handy for the airport, but also a real haven with a beautiful garden, helpful staff and lovely food. The beds are really comfortable and the showers are brill. There is a lovely indoor pool as well as an outdoor one. I was delighted we stayed here as I was not overly impressed with the wind and litter on Agadir beach.
