I stayed here a week and there is nothing that I didn't like. Well maybe the fact, that I had to leave and go back home... :) I had a room in the middle of the block 300, where on the bottom is the restaurant situated. The balcony view was magnificent - towards the beach and ocean, where I couldn't stop taking thousands of fotos of the sunset each evening. Everyday it looked different and each day it was a masterpiece! Well, you can say, that you don't have to stay in a hotel with an ocean view to be able to see the sunsets... but isn't it wonderful to step out of the shower and be astonished of the views... Amazing. The rooms we had were spaciuos, the decor wasn't very sophisticated, but it had that "moroccoan touch", which whole our group liked. The bathrooms as already mentioned by others, weren't the newest, but still were clean, which was what I appreciated the most. As the nights were a bit cold, I always turned on the AC on heat :) and it was OK. The whole staff I've met was very polite, eager to help and resolve problems and spoke English quite well. I loved the "Shisha Bar", it's something you look for when being in Morocco. Besides the animation of the dancers were really impressive! Nothing I've seen in many other hotels of the past years I've stayed. To tell the truth - I don't take part in hotel animations, as I can entertain myself and I was never very fond of these attractions. But for Decameron Tafoukt - it's a hidden gem. I really enjoyed watching the artists.
I think that having a disco in your hotel, where you can have drinks till 1.00 on the all inclusive basis is a good plus. The DJ was great and I liked the most is that many locals (men and women) come to have fun as well, so you can watch how they spend their free time. Never had any problems with Moroccan men wanting to dance. Some of us did dance a couple of times with them, some politely said no and everything was fine.
The food - I have only good things to say! WONDERFUL! Also the Miso Restaurant is marvellous. You must go there as well.
The hotel has it's own private beach, which is another very good thing. The hotel is very convieniently located. Next to the beach and promenade, close to the city center.
As for the French - this is mainly a French hotel, but I didn't have any problems with that. It's normal that resort hotels sometimes have more customers from one specific country, it's the same in any other resort. So if you don't like frnch language and French people then don't go. What's the problem? I don't see any :P
All of all - I just loved this hotel!
