“10 days of bliss”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

We stayed here in October 11, and it was a wonderful experience!! It was my partner and myself's first holiday together and it was prefect mainly due to the brilliant staff who work constantly to meet your every need. We had a brillant room with veiws overlooking the gardens and the sea, very clean and spacious. The bed was lovely, a super king size and very comfortable. Outside of the hotel it was a little unnerving with lots of beggers and people trying to drag you into shops. They didnt really pay me much attention, however my boyfriend was constantly haressed and got very annoyed with them. The hotel was a haven away from it where I felt safe and comfortable. We ate breakfast everyday at the hotel which was amazing, the chocolate pancakes are a must! We also had dinner at the hotel every other night. There was alot of varity and it all tasted nice. One night my chicken was pink but that is the only bad thing I can think of. We were half board and always got asked if we would like drinks ect. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a quite relaxing holiday. The hotel is not what made our holiday but the staff! They didn't expect tips although at the end we went and tipped our favourite waiters and the cleaning lady, we were treated excellently without an expection of anything in return. I would return tomorrow!!!

Room Tip: Room 401 had excellent veiws from the balacony and I beleive one of the best in the hotel.

“Clean, okay standard - nothing special”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2011

If you need a place to crash and want to hang on the beach this hotel is a decent choice. The overall is a little run down but the rooms are up to okay standard. The cleaning was good and the hotels in a good spot if you want to have close to both beach and town. The beach is just a 2 minute walk away and the pool is a good place to relax.

A decent choice. But nohting fancy.

“Hotel disappointing”

My husband and I have just come back from a 2 wk stay in the hotel, slightly disappointed with it, the hotel itself was lovely, but we didn't realise that you had to go over a main road to the beach, the hotel staff apart from the maids and the guards were very unfriendly, the food was dreadful, it all sounded good menus from other countries, italian, mexican, oriental etc but the food was always so bland and boring nothing like you had to eat in the restaurants outside the hotel, and the smoking was dreadful, you weren't allowed to smoke in the restaurant but they might as well have allowed you too as they used to have the windows open and all round the outside of the dining room were tables that the smokers sat at so therefore you had smoke constantly coming in through the windows, we tried to get the staff to do something about it but they weren't interested in us at all, we used to be in and out of the restaurant within 15 mins max, and as we weren't all inclusive we never got asked if we wanted a drink or anything else, we had to lay our own table with knifes forks serviettes etc, not good for a 3plus hotel at all.
But i can recommend a wonderful cafe called La Fontaine that does the most amazing cakes and coffee, very cheap too about 10 minute walk towards the town not the beach and the restaurant Le Nil Bleu on the beach was wonderful too.
The only thing i would advise is if you want to change money make sure that none of it is defaced as they won't accept it in the banks or bueau de change as we found out to our cost.
Also a must is Marrakech what a fascinating city.

Room Tip: Higher rooms overlooking the pool have a view of the sea, whatever you do don't have a room over...

“Clean hotel, good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 September 2011

Good value for money, ok-sized rooms and comfortable beds. Clean, and no bugs seen during our stay.
When we arrived there was a leak in our bathroom sink (water dripped onto the floor), we were planning to ask to have it fixed in reception the next day but forgot it, and when we returned from the beach the cleaning lady had taken care of the problem.
Breakfast was very nice, tasty fresh bread and vegetables in addition to croissants, toast, eggs (though no bacon), pancakes (with lovely cinnamon-honey) and omelets made by order. We didnt have lunch/dinner at the hotel, so I cant say anything about the quality of other meals.
A big bonus was the complimentary sun beds for hotel guests at the beach which I had not read anything about before discovering them by accident. (there are also public sun beds that you can rent).
The biggest downside was the AC, even though we turned it on to the max capacity and lowest temperature it was not very effective, but for some reason it worked better when we opened the balcony door.
Guests at the hotel was mostly middle aged couples (and groups of women), we are in our mid 20s, but didnt find this to be a problem.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms overlooking the parking lot (due to traffic noise).

“Excellent location”

We stayed here for 4 nights at the start of July 2011. We stayed b&b and I would recommend this. Their was a large variety at breakfast.. We loved the pancakes with chocolate sauce .their isn't much going on at the hotel and there were mainly older people there but this isn't a problem as the beach us literally a two minute walk away! Also buy your drinks from uni prix the supermarket which is opposite the hotel! The air con in the rooms is useless but it's bot really needed as there was usually a lovely breeze at night so just open your windows! The rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed. The receptionists speak fluent English and were quite helpful whenever we approached them.
