“Clean and basic accommodation.”

We stayed for 14 nights and only needed a place to sleep. We found the rooms were clean, there were no creepy crawly's at all. I did like the way the hotel was set out, with all of the rooms opening outside, we were overlooking the pool area. There are a lot of stairs, but they are manageable.
The rooms were cleaned every day and the whole hotel in general was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful when we needed info.
There are cats around the hotel, but it is not over run by cats luke some reviews imply, but there are cats everywhere un agadir.
The breakfast area was clean, the waiters were friendly and helpful. The food was typical Moroccan breakfast but we enjoyed breakfast.
To break it down, the Tagadirt us a good hotel but if you are looking for luxery this is not the hotel for you. Its perfect, really cheap base if you are looking for a placw to sleep only.

We found the breakfast very poor, the pool freezing too many steps to go out staff very friendly but the rooms too old and in particular the bath and shower very much in need of renovation some mildew on ceilings and rust in the bath.

“Read this.....”

This is a budget hotel....My girlfriend and i stayed at this hotel for 11 nights and i found it to be very good value for money. There could of been lots of things wrong with it if i had really looked but i was there on a cheap holiday and got one. All the staff were very polite and more than happy to help. So if your going there expecting the Ritz at travel lodge prices you will be dissapointed but if your going there for 11 nights with flights for 2 people for £490 you will be over the moon with the value.

Room Tip: about 100 DRM should do it

“Tagadirt Aparthotel: Place has seen better days”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 December 2011

The entrance and the reception area are impressive. On one the side of the reception, just pass the bar area, there is this spacious clean beautifully decorated sitting area.
Checking in is relatively straightforward, and there is always a porter on hand to help with the luggage to your room.

Some of the staff are indifferent and sometime don’t seem to take you seriously unless you are generous with tipping them

The place is a maze of blocks. These blocks are negotiated through some steps. There are no lifts to get to higher rooms. The rooms are very basic. Some are actually for self caterers. But they all are decorated in the same style. Air conditioning was working in my room, and there was no problem getting hot water in the bathroom and sink. But the head of the shower kept coming off the hook. It took two days of complaint before it was fixed. There was no TV for those who prefer to have one in their rooms. There is just one TV near the bar at the reception

There are 3 outdoors swimming pools, including one for the kids. No indoors swimming pool.

One floor up from the reception there is another huge foyer. I understand that this where the odd evening entertainments take place. Any scheduled entertainment taking place is normally advertised on a board by the reception.
Another floor up is the restaurant. Breakfast is poor. It is the same everyday with not much to choose from. Just Bread, butter, salad, poor quality cereal, some very thin slices of some meat, cheap fruit juice squash, tea & coffee. However there is a lady who does some freshly cooked pancakes or omelettes. She tends to be busy, so you need to be patient.
By the main swimming pool there is a snack bar that does cooked food for a charge (unless it is included in your package.

For people with allergy to cats, be aware. The place looks like a colony of cats. They are everywhere.

The hotel is located within 5 minutes walk down a steep flight of steps to the beach and within two minutes to the main street Boulevard 20 Oaout. This strip of road is full of some top class restaurants and bars. Most famous with the Brits is the English Pub (Very pricey compare to the UK). There are also awfully a lot of souvenir shops, a couple of bureau of change and a post office.

Conclusion: A cheap basic hotel in a great location. Shame about some members of staff

Room Tip: Choose a room in the middle of the complex to avoid the noise coming from the English pub and the tr...
