It is nominated as three stars, but several years later - I still have fond memories of my stay at Hotel Kamal. Ideally located in the centre of Agadir, only about 5-8 mins walk from the beach, it is excellently located for taxis and walking around Agadir.

The staff were superb and so were the cleaners. They always greeted us and made us feel excellently welcome at all times. It was my first visit to Morocco and some unfortunate things happened to me- outside of the hotel, but staying here just made me feel better very quickly.

I injured myself and a doctor was called immediately- the hotel staff were amazing. The restaurant was nice as well- good prices and I wanted chilli sauce with my pasta and they brought it to us immediately. The breakfast was good and the service was snappy and attentive. My friend had stayed here previously- so it was a recommendation from her and we went there together the next time. It is not a fancy chain or anything, but the personalisation of the hotel makes it worth it. As the staff are really nice to you at all times.

Unfortunately I haven't been back, but maybe one day. I've put my travel date as April 2011, but it was actually in December 2005.

after our 10th visit to the kamal we still love it.this season has seen a refurbishment and very nice it is too.the standards never drop,its spotless.the staff are all great,the pool area lovely.
.with snacks available..the restaurant for evening meals is lovely with good food.i can assure you would not be dissapointed

Myself and 2 friends returned for a second stay and were not disappointed, staff very attentive, rooms very clean . Good location, not far from beach, we also visited the local hair salon "Salon Kamal" for an inexpensive wash and blow dry , seemed to know what you wanted just by a few words of English.

For a first night meal the Scampi next door is very good

We stayed in this hotel for four nights in September 2011. We decided on this hotel because of a special offer and payed 25 pounds per night. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the staff always helpful, and there was a huge hotel pool. With around a 5 minute walk to the beach, this is the perfect budget to midrange hotel. Due to its location as well, rooms were very quiet (we were facing the pool).
