Came back to Isu for business, also brought a friend and a their student to visit the campus. This time I upgraded to a room with a whirlpool and it was nothing less than amazing. We only stayed for one night and the bed was comfortable and it was very quiet and convient. The whirlpool was a nice addition and was definitely worth getting it. The flat pannel TVs were an great new addition. The Hampton Inn will be my one and only choice of hotels when i come to Ames.

My last stay in Hampton Inn in Ames was the week of Sep. 12, 2011 and it was 5th or 6th stays in Hampton inn in Ames this year. The front desk remembered me and gave very welcome greeting that made me feel so warm. In addition, the breakfast lady is always smiling to everybody and give warm good morning to everybody. Bed was so comfy as usual and internet connection was good. My job requires many travels thus; I have several experiences staying in many different hotel chains. I am confidently say the Hampton Inn in Ames is one of the best.

When in Ames I always try to stay at this hotel. Convenient location, helpful staff and clean comfortable rooms. Stayed during RAGBRAI and the hotel ran breakfast earlier and longer to accommodate the riders at the hotel!

I have been in Ames for business many times. I have been to some bad hotels in the past and This was NOT one of them. Everything about the Hampton was exactly as i would want it to be. The bed was beyond clean, I've been known to be extremely picky about this, and it was surprisingly comfortable. Like I said before I have stayed in many hotels in Ames some which sound like you are sleeping in the middle of highway 30. Luckly, you cannot hear any of this from the Hampton. I was shocked to also have a complimentary breakfast every morning i had stayed and all of the staff seemed to be friendly. I was always greeted by the nice front desk woman. Overall this was an amazing trip and I plan on going back to the Hampton in the future.
