Only thing that I would say that was a negative was that there was not a printer by the business center for me to print some forms off. Very clean hotels with very nice staff and a great location right off U.S. Highway 30 near I-35.

The greet staff are friendly and the warmth from the fireplace in the small lobby is very welcoming. Our suite was tastefully decorated and we appreciated the layout of the room. It felt spacious and we felt at home when we invited friends over for coffee in the evening.
We were in Ames for a wedding at the ISU campanile . It was not the closest motel for this event but easily accessible for the reception at the Alumni center. The fitness center is small but adequate with a treadmill, weight bench and elliptical. The pool and hot tub are indoors. We would stay here again. The only negative was a group of drunk people having trouble figuring out how to unlock their room.

Let's start off with the location. This is Ames, Iowa, so there are no upscale choices. The hotel is conveniently located just off the highway, clustered with several other National brand hotels. We had a suite overlooking a corn field, which is much cooler then it sounds!

The room was decent sized, has a fold out couch and two TV's. The bathroom is nice sized. Breakfast was nothing special, but certainly adequate. The room, lobby, everything was spotless. It is apparent that they take great pride, and it really does show.

Unfortunately they have paper cups and paper thin towels in the bathroom.- that really is the only criticism of the hotel. The price is very reasonable. We definitely elude stay there again.

I was thrilled to discover I wasn't in one of the usual places I stay when in Ames. This was new, clean, comfy, spacious, and the staff was great. Not walking distance but a straight shot to NVSL and lots of restaurants.
