The room and property were disgusting! On the side of the building was a couch with weeds growing around it next to the electrical box. The entrance had a plastic carry bag overflowing with cigerettes and garbage and under the bench was a styrofoam cup with sand in it filled with cigerette butts.The room was dirty. Dirt and dust were hanging from the exhuast fan in the bathroom. Sink didn't drain. Stains on the carpet. Dried splatter on the bathroom walls. Room was not vaccummed between night stand and one of the beds, there were nail clippings and a plastic cup on floor that we noticed the next morning when we were sitting on the other bed. A car was parked under the check-in, check-out canapy Sat and Sun. We like going to Algona, but will not stay there again.

I was very much disappointed staying here. The room was sub par with marginal cleanliness, leaking toilet, beeping smoke detector, burned out light bulbs and a Fubar'd heater.

Room smelled moldy and musty so bad we could barely breathe. Turned heat on and smoke came out of the unit and set off the smoke detector. Lamp didn't work, another shade cracked and broken. Fan in the bathroom was nonfunctional. Floor creaked so bad we likely kept others awake below us on the first floor. Took our suitcases to the car the next morning and went back up to our room (maybe 2-3 minutes later) to get our food out of the fridge and the cleaning person had pilfered through it and then threw it in the garbage. It was an awful experience.
