We loved our stay at Super 8 Anderson. The room was big and comfortable and everything in the hotel was well kept. The breakfast was good, waffles, bagels cereal and good hot coffee. The night clerk, I think it was Maria was great, friendly and helpful. I can't say the same for Sherri---------I read another review naming her as unfriendly and didn't have to ask which one she was. She checked us out and although I kept saying I wanted to pay cash, put the room on a card we had held it with on the Wyndham rewards site claiming that there was no way to change it. I asked the other clerk and was told that wasn't true. She was definitely less than accomodating and certainly not friendly. I was told she was an assistant manager and the only thing I can say is that she kept the place really nice.

I woke up and found a bedbug in my bed . I killed it,then i went to a local exterminator who confirmed that it was indeed a Bedbug. When i went to the front desk with this dead bug, she told me" I know your type, you are just looking to sue someone." i have never been angrier in my life. i filed a complaint with the local health department and contacted super 8 customer service. they told me that since this was a franchise,i would have to deal directly with this location. when the mgr contacted me 5 days later, he offered me one free nights stay. i told him i would never stay there again. i have stayed in this location on business at least 15 times in the past 2 years,and up until now,have been very impressed. NO WAY anymore. yeah, i guess they "KNOW MY TYPE".
My type is a very pissed off business traveler who will retell this experience to anyone who is interested in steering clear of a hotel with BEDBUGS.

I stayed here for one night on my way to Kentucky. I agree with the 2 previous reviews
that this Super 8 was a smart choice. I had a standard but clean room with plenty of space, adequate lighting and a handy refrigerator. I was given a ground floor room near an exit as requested due to my dog, and I really appreciated the luggage carts in the lobby as I had a larger than usual amount of things to bring into the room. The continental breakfast was adequate enough to get me back on the road in the morning without needing to stop somewhere else for breakfast. I booked the room online
and got a great price for the night, especially compared to the hotels on either side.

Great service the room was clean with refrigerator and there is continental breakfast served daily. Nice super 8 for the price and location. Free shuttle to the casino 24 hours on weekends.
