We stopped here on our way to Nashville. Man at the desk was very friendly and nice. But the room was disgusting! Comforter had multiple dirty areas, bottom sheets were too short for the beds and came off during the night. Sheets and pillow cases were stained/yellow. Yuck! Carpet wasn't particularly clean. I can say, the breakfast was pretty nice with the exception of the orange juice was watered down. We will not be coming back.

We stayed here 4 years ago & it was fine, but not this time. Unfortunately this time we could only get "smoking" rooms. I'll NEVER do that again! The stench was overpowering...even after 3 days with the windows open constantly & the door open when possible. The carpets (we had 2 rooms) were filthy, and there were stains (& burns) on the furniture. I did like the bathroom configuration with the sink outside the toilet/tub area. Also, the front desk personnel were fabulous. But we were short toilet paper when we checked in, soon ran out of kleenex, & the cleaning personnel did not replenish the next day. Breakfast is really so-so. We're back to the Hampton or Fairfield next time! (& if they're full, I'll drive to Muncie if I have to in order to avoid this hotel!)

The lobby must have been renovated, clean with ceramic tiles. I made my reservation on line and believe the rate is competitive. The front desk person at check in was not very friendly but everyone else at the hotel was fine. The room was clean, roomy and comfortable. Hallway carpet was worn. I did not use or visit the indoor pool. Nothing exceptional. I stay over a 100 nights a year in hotels and strongly advise people not to just walk in and get a rack rate. Reserving on line even an hour ahead can save money.

My son and I stopped at this hotel after a long drive in heat with a broken air conditioner. Needless to say we were tired and hot and ready to swim and cool off in a nice hotel room. I got a strange feeling when talking to the man at the desk. I'm not sure how to describe the situation, but I came away feeling that he was overcharging us for the nights stay. I know we were walking in without a reservation, but over $100.00 for this hotel seemed way out of line. The lobby was not clean and not very cool and there was visible dust on the register in the lobby. Although we were tired I chose not to spend my money at this hotel. It just didn't feel safe or clean. I wen't down the road just a short distance and spent less money for a much nicer room at the Holiday Inn Express. See that review if you like.
