I had the misfortune of staying at this motel for 1 night although I had booked for three. I booked through a travel site and was mislead to believe it was a 3 star hotel based on that sites rating. When I drove up I found that it was no more than a 1 star motel. There are a few decent 3 star hotels in the area and I was hoping I was going to get one of them. It started out bad and got worse very fast. The first red flag should have been the guy standing behind the plexiglass window checking me in. All of the doors around the property were open for anyone to just walk in. There was no keycard mechanism on any of the doors. Once I checked in and was given my key it was to a room on the first floor when I requested one upstairs. I was told those were the smoking rooms. Fine. I don't smoke. Upon entering the room I basically had to do a double take. First of all the smell almost knocked you out. There was an old flowered spread on the bed with numerous cigarette burn holes. The blanket was dirty and had lint balls all over it and looked 10 yrs old and stank. When I pulled back the sheets they were threadbare and full of stains. Went back to the front desk to ask for sheets to change the bed and was told there were no more sheets and housekeeping had left for the weekend. The AC/Heater was about 40 yrs old and full of dirt and crud. I was scared to turn it on for fear that the filth would fly out of the vents and into the air I had to breathe. The TV was a small tube model and bolted down to the dresser. Oh and it gets better. The iron was attached to a chain that was nailed to the wall. Yes I said nailed to the wall, mind you there was no ironing board in sight because per the desk person people steal them. The tiny $5 clock radio was glued down to the night table so you couldn't turn it to see the time at night once in the bed. There were about 10 channels on the TV. There was mold and mildew on the ceiling and throughout the bathroom. It goes on and on and on. Oh and they claim to have wifi, however you find out once you get there that there's no wifi in the rooms...only in the cold drafty lobby where there are about 2 outlets and one is being used for the microwave/coffee pot that was being used every 2 minutes by strange people running back and forth from their rooms to the lobby. The business center consisted of an old small dirty computer sitting on a little table in the lobby with a cheap very badly stained chair. Well I stayed one night and got out of there the next morning forfeiting the rest of my money for the other two days. I slept with my shoes on because the carpet was filthy and black and had numerous spills and stains and refused to get under the nasty sheets so I slept in my clothes and covered up with the two towels I got from the bathroom that looked so-so. Thank God I travel with my own pillow so I used it to lay my head on for the 3 hrs of sleep I got. Of course the mgr is going to right a disclaimer regarding this review to make it sound better than it is. Just beware and stay away from this property unless you enjoy staying in rundown fleabag motels. I did read that travel site I booked through the riot act about misrepresenting this property and they did credit me for all three nights which is what I paid for. That was the only redemption I received after that nightmare.
