“Great Value & Atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2012

person found this review helpful

I have stayed in a LOT of Hampton Inns. This one was most pleasant - lobby, dining and other public areas were new and clean. Room was comfortable. I was speaking at a community event held at the hotel and the meeting staff was top notch - AV, tech, etc all covered. If you need to stay in Aurora, stay here.

Room Tip: High floor..always a high floor!

“good value for medium to low range hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 January 2012
1

I stay here to visit in laws for about a week every year.
pros -
Very clean
friendly staff
good kids pool
lots of options for breakfast for kids

cons -
the hot breakfast foods are gross (but I don't have high expectations for a hotel in this range)
of the 4 cardio machines in the gym, two were not working.
some rooms have windows with blocked views due the double height wing of the hotel that houses the pool.

average -
mattress and pillow comfort
price

the area also has a few other chains that have just opened up that I haven't tried yet.

We appreciate you taking the time to review our hotel. Every review allows us to learn something about ourselves and grow as a company. We are glad to hear you enjoyed most of the facilities. We apologize that you did not care for the hot items at breakfast we are limited to what can be served due to Hilton franchise rules. However, we will try to correct this in the future. If you need any assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.

“A bit better than your average Hampton Inn”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 December 2011
1

When my company tells me I'll be staying in a Hampton Inn, I know what to expect for the most part. Decent, clean room with good amenities, free breakfast with a good variety of choices and decent coffee available in room and usually in the lobby.

This Hampton offers, among what I listed above, plus a large, airy eating area/lobby with a fireplace, with free soup available in the evening ( a nice touch I've not seen anywhere else except extended stay hotels). The staff was friendly and helpful. A nice place to stay and a good choice in the area.

Hotel was very warm and inviting. Fireplace was on in the entry area. Decorated for the Holidays. Friendly staff. Nice clean room with comfortable bed. Internet service is free. Breakfast had a nice variety of foods. Eggs with ham, potatoes, waffle maker, yogurts, fruit salad and fresh fruit. Cereal, juices and very good coffee. Nice experience. I would stay here again!!
