Visited the Chicago area to see family and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Arlington Heights. It was nice because they have a free shuttle that picks you up and drops you off at O'Hare Airport. The staff blew me away though. Anything that I needed assistance with, they didn't hesitate to help and all of them are always smiling and friendly. Definitely would stay again.

During our stay in the US, where we tried several different Hotels/Motels, this place was absolutely the best of all. Room was excellent with luxurious beds when taking into account the age of the hotel. The hotel in general was very clean, and you always felt extremely welcome. The staff was very service minded and friendly, and always tried to help their best. Amenities was suitable for a hotel of this class, for example the breakfast buffet had many different choices of both hot and cold meals.
Location with regards to Chicago Downtown Area and Chicago O´Hare Airport was okay, and easy to reach both destinations. Shopping in the area are also easy with the Woodfield Mall less than 15 minutes away by car. For the Premium Outlet Center at Aurora the drive is a bit longer but still acceptable. Overall we had five wonderful days at this hotel, and would highly recommend to friends and family.

Spent July 4th weekend in Chicago, got a last minute deal to stay at this hotel. This is an older property that appears to have been recenty renovated. Comfortable beds, large rooms accomodated our family of four, clean bathrooms. Good selection for breakfast, hot and cold buffet. Being a holiday weekend, the hotel was very busy, with out of towners and foreign tourists so the breakfast area was a bit of madhouse. Found it interesting that the hotel catered to various cultures, providig steamed rice, chopstiks. Nice touch.

Overall, great place to stay for a weekend if you need a base for trips into downtown Chicago. Close proximity to Ikea and other great shopping areas.

I live close to this Hotel and I never thought I'd stay in it for any reason, but during the time when the monster storm hit Chicago, our heat stopped working and we had to find a place to stay through the night with 2 kids. I called them and they were the first number I dialed and made the reservation the same day, the receptionist was very friendly, very fast check in, nice looking lobby and clean hallways( they really smell good), huge room and wonderful furniture. Free WiFi throughout the building and top it with a yummy free breakfast. They were great!! Since I live in the area I don't think I'm going to stay there again but I'm definitely having any guests who may visit from other states stay there. I'm sure they'll love it as much as I did.
