We've stayed here @ 10 times to hang out at local Alton belle casino. It is very clean & has a free beakfast along with a pool area. We are always treated nice.

My family stayed at this hotel after a family reunion.

We chose it based on a good previous stay, price, pool and breakfast.

The check-in took quite a while because there was only one person at the check-in desk, but a line of people. The check-in person was very friendly and good at her job.

Our room smelled a bit funky. I wondered if someone had smoked in the room and we smelled the post-cleaning effort.

The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

There were options to re-use sheets and towels, which I always like to see, but no recycling options for paper, plastics, etc.

The pool was very popular with my son, niece and nephew. It's open from 6 AM to 10 PM, so no worries about find a time it's available.

The breakfast had a good amount of variety, short of having a short order cook there.

I would recommend this hotel and plan on staying here again, if I'm in the area again.

went to Alton to see the eagle migration...it was a good trip. The Comfort Inn isn't located on the Mississippi River, but there wasn't a motel with river views that accepted dogs. My 70# german shephard isn't welcomed many placed - Comfort Inn is the exception. NICE! The room is regular, but roomy enough for 2 adults and a large dog. The hotel is within 5 miles of several eagle viewing areas. The first day we saw about 10 eagles, the second day we saw probably 100. The trip was awesome. The dog was no additional charge - the Holiday Inn next door charged $20 for a dog. Other guests wanted to pet her, staff was nice about her coming in the lobby with us. Breakfast is good. My only complaint is the pillows - little and too soft. Next time I'll bring my own. Thanks, Comfort Inn - I'm now a fan.

My wife and four year old stayed for a couple of nights.

We liked the free breakfast in the morning and the kids (niece and nephew were also staying at the hotel) loved the pool.

The room was clean. The bed was your typical two to three start hotel mattress, sheets and pillows.

The shower pressure was decent.

We liked the free wireless Internet and the option to skip changing of towels and sheets.

The hotel is right next to railroad tracks, so if you're a light sleeper that may be a problem.
