the hotel was in an ice area. It was near many resataruants. I"ve stayed here in the past. But my last three days have been getting bad. The owners have stoped keeping it up. My latest room was a dump. The handle on the faucet broke, afterwards i notice the toliet had a ice bucket under it to catch the leaking water, There is only 1 ice machine, its located outside the lobby downstairs.

The Days Inn has a great location close to Midway Airport and just outside of Chicago. Although the exterior of the hotel would lead you to believe that this isn't the best place to stay, we were pleased once we got into the room.

The room was clean and servicable. There were no frills or extras - although we did get a continental breakfast that the website never mentioned.

Best part of our stay was the service. The staff was friendly and helpful, quick to assist.

For quiet at night request a room at the back, for a little more security (both personal and vehicle) request a room in the center by checkin.

Filthy, disgusting, repulsive. Rooms not clean, fixtures broken, carpets stained and soiled, just like the mattresses. From the road and even the lobby, it looks like a nice, clean place, get closer and you can see the truth. Some staff good, others could care less about the customers. Over all, very, very poor. Pay extra $20 and stay next door at the other hotel.

This has always been my favorite motel when traveling to the south side of Chicago; however, it sure has changed! The last time I stayed at this motel it was CLEAN and comfortable. This time the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean, but the carpet was filthy. Also, the room smelled badly - I'm not sure what the smell was. I don't know if I will try this motel one more time or not. I was told it is under new ownership (or new people are running it.) They need to get the motel back to the clean way it used to be.

Fortunately, the young man at the front desk was very polite, and the breakfast in the morning was very good.
