The hotel smelled when we first walked in-should have cancelled right then and there and went to another hotel. Our room smelled, was dirty. Non-smoking room but they used sheets that smelled of smoke. We got our young children to bed so we didn't want the hassle of moving them so I didn't say anything until the next morning. The General Manager's response "I'm sorry". We stayed elsewhere the 2nd night! Convenience to Six Flags is not worth it! The next day both my husband and I broke out with a rash on our face. Very disgusting.

Stayed here for the entire opening weekend for SFOG and it was great for the price. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast really good deal too! Can be inside the park from the hotel door in about five minutes. Staff even let us leave our car for the day of check out to keep from paying the $15.00 parking fee. Definitely will stay again.

We stayed here after spending the day at Six Flags. We decided we were too tired for the 3 1/2 hr. drive home and chose this hotel only because we are Choice Hotel members and get a later check out. We would have been better off to sleep in the car! We asked for a non-smoking room and were given a smoking room. The walls were tar stained and it smelled like a cigarette. My husband went to speak with the clerk about the misunderstanding and to get another room but only came back with a can of air freshener and a very disappointed look. Incredibly "It was the only room left" said the very unfriendly clerk. It was 10:30pm, we were exhausted and reluctantly chose to tuff it out and stay. About 12am the neighbors in the adjoining room decided to have an all-out war, doors slamming, people swearing this went on for 30-45 mins. My kids, 6 & 8, were absolutely terrified. Someone must have come down and said something to them, they finally quietened down so we could go to sleep. The breakfast was adequate, the staff not so friendly and to my suprise they had no laundromat. The location to the park was within walking distance so that was one good thing. We have since stayed at the Wingate and it was excellent. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

I decided to stay at Sleep Inn at Six Flags because I was able to find a really good deal at Choicehotels.com and it is within walking distance of Six Flags. I didn't know what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised, as were my best friend & cousin. The room was clean, spacious & actually really cool. We arrived before check in time, but they let us check in anyway. The service was really good, save for one of the front desk guys. He wasn't outrightly rude, but you could tell he would rather have been elsewhere. Other than that, I did not have one single problem. Breakfast was plentiful; coffee, english muffins, bagels, toast, cereal, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, pastries, & juice. The shower was awesome. I really got a lot for my money. Definately a great stay & a great hotel. There is even an indoor pool, although we did not use it...this time. And yes, there will be another time. We will definately go back!
