This hotel was exactly what you need when you are staying near an attraction, a roof over your head. The room we had was a queen bed room. It came with a fridge and microwave, an outdated TV, and some space to put our gear in the corner. The bathroom was a standup shower and the vanity was in the room. Overall, this room was clean, didn't smell of smoke, and had some noise reduction.
The morning breakfast was all starches, there was a Wall Street Journal in the lobby to read, and the coffee was TERRIBLE. I don't know who actually serves Maxwell House anymore, but I found them! The staff was competent and quick. One quirky thing about this hotel is that you need your card to be able to get into the lobby after dark. It makes you think that this isn't a great part of town, but we didn't hear gunshots or anything, so that level of security seemed unnecessary.
If you are going to six flags, and the rate of this hotel is good, save yourself the parking fees and walk in!
