This is my first trip to Augusta, and I must say how nice this hotel really is. Joyce was the best she gave us a quick check-in and told us where to eat. The whole staff was so helpful and always helpful. I was conducting interviews and they even offered the use of there meeting room. The rooms were very nice and clean. I will be staying here again.

Although my visit was quick and I wasn't able to enjoy the breakfasts, dinners, and hotel amenities such as the invitng outdoor pool, I found this hotel to be very clean, in an ideal location, and the comfort of these type of suites top notch. The main reason of this review though is to recognize the outstanding front desk employee "Joyce" who went out of her way to make me feel welcomed, and went beyond the call of duty to round up some food and beverages after a very long day. She is a real tribute to this hotel and her customer service skills the best.

perhaps the biggest draw to the homewood chain is that the rooms are separated into bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and lounge/tv room. it gives the impression and feel of a more home-like atmosphere compared to a 1 room efficiency type arrangement (typical of most if not all non-vacation oriented hotel destinations). bonuses are the "free" breakfast and dinner offerings which occur during set times of the day. these are not gourmet 4-star menus (light meals), but for a family on a budget the little things add up. clean room, quiet stay, what more is there to say?

We traveled to Augusta for a family wedding June 17-19. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, always asking if there was anything they could do for us, especially the 3-11 pm shift. Comfortable and clean rooms. This was our first stay at a Homewood Suites and we were very well pleased. Location is off the busy Washington Road traffic but very convenient to downtown and all the Washington Road businesses (restaurants, retail, Augusta National). The on-line checkin was a real plus...you get to choose your room (location)....if I remember right, you need to be signed up for the Hilton rewards program and you check-in 24/48 hrs. in advance of arrival date.
