There is nothing overly wonderful about the Holiday Inn, but sometimes you just want a room that gives you no complaints. That is pretty much what the Holiday Inn in Athens does for you. We found nothing worthy of complaint with our room - the beds were clean and comfortable, the bathroom was up to snuff, and everything there was in line with your typical $100/night stay. The location of the hotel is great, offering walking distance access to more to do than anyone wants to imagaine.

We've stayed at the Hilton, and Hampton Inn in Athens. This is by far the best yet. The locations is perfect, the rooms immaculate, the staff....so pleasant and helpful. Had breakfast in the restaurant on location. We were more than pleased. Holiday Inn Athens - University Area will be our first choice for future trips to Athens.

The hotel is at Athens best location. University campus is too good to take refreshing walk in evening. Being fond of Indian food, I loved The Indian Restaurant which just in front of the Hotel. you can find a nice crowd in evenings till night nearby.

I stayed here for 6 nights while working in the area. I had no complaints and would recommend others to stay there.
