I will make this review as short as possible. We were overcharged, told no refunds the next morning after getting a good look at the place, and when our smoke alarm would not stop going off, the front desk told us they had no one to come up and help us, then after calling back 10 minutes into this awful beeping, we were told to "just take the battery out". The room was filthy, including toilet tissue, a shampoo lid, and a dirty Q-tip on the bathroom floor. And apparently they do not like guests to leave the air conditioner on while out for the day, as returning to the room twice one day, it had been turned off. Upon checkout I requested a manager to discuss the issues, and was informed he was not available until the next day. (?????) Anyway, a short trip down the street to Howard Johnson for our last two days in town, was priceless; very well kept grounds, very friendly staff, much nicer rooms, great pool, better location, and was only about $10 more per night.
