Perfect location in the downtown area; only a 2 minute walk to all the restaurants, shops, bars, etc. My husband booked a room (using hotels.com) for a Saturday night. Check in was no problem and the room was beautiful. The first thing I did was check out the bathroom. It looked nice but there were 3 problems: there was a wad of hair plastered to the shower wall, the drain in the tub was broken, and the toilet wouldn't flush. The non-flushing toilet didn't occur until the next morning after we had taken showers and were about to leave (thank goodness). Also, the bed was super uncomfortable. I know everyone has a different idea of what a comfortable bed is but this wouldn't meet any standard; you could feel the springs poking through the mattress. I wonder if we got the "discount" room by booking through a website (it's $30 more to book directly). I was sorely disappointed and will not stay there again. On the plus side: The Melting Point is a great place to see a concert. The acoustics are amazing.

Amazing accommodations for a great night out in downtown Athens! We had a group of 6 with dinner reservations a few miles away. The front desk suggested we take the shuttle in case we all would like to have a few drinks. Amazing! The shuttle driver (Joe) gave us his card and told us to call him when we were ready and he would come right back to get us. It was the best! The rooms were cozy, comfy beds, and an outstanding staff! Room service was quick and friendly, and definately hit the spot the next morning! Foundry Park Inn and Spa is now our only option when visiting Athens! Perfect marks all around!

Friendly staff, cozy sheets, beautiful room. I called to see if they had any non-feather pillows I could use. I said I'd be happy to come get them if so (I really wanted to take a nap when I arrived, which I didn't mention). They sent someone with pillows to my room within two minutes. I was very impressed.

Upon arrival to this so called "nice" B&B type establishment we had to step over people sitting and smoking in the stairway that led to the outside door to our room. (A very bad first impression) The package we reserved was to include champagne and passes for the concert venue next door. After multilple unsuccessful requests for our free bubbly we left to enjoy the show. After ringing in 2012 and grabbing a bite off the inclusive bruch buffet. (Warmed over bisquits wrapped in foil that were not very good) We made it back to our room around 1 am only to discover a warm bottle of champagne left on the desk of our room. As my wife and I retired to the comfortable beds for a night of sleep, we were awoken several times to noises from neighboring guests that sounded like they were sitting in room with us. Their smoke also waffed it's way under the 1/4" crack at the base of our door.

Overall we were not satisifed with our experience at the Foundry Park Inn and Spa.
