“Perfect location!”

I stayed one night in this hotel. The staff received very well and helped me with all my needs. The room is cozy and have free wireless internet available. There is also a flat screen, a small fridge and a coffe maker. The breakfast was fair. The hotel is perfectly located in front of the main square. It was very convenient location for me, close to restaurants and bars. The hotel front door close at 12am, but there is a security guard during the night to open the door for you.

“PERFECT LOCATION - IN THE CENTER OF TOWN.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 January 2011

This hotel is not fancy but I was content with the location. The pool was a few blocks away and it was freezing! We traveled 8/09 (Trip advisor website didn't allow me to change the date on this form-therefore the stamped date is not matching the actual date we traveled) and the mornings and late afternoons tend to be cool.
We ate breakfast in the restaurant. It was ok. The rooms had cable TV and there was hot water in the shower.
I was very happy with the selection since we spend most of the time doing different activities in town.

“Not luxury but safe, clean, good location with remote parking and pool”

We stayed here for New Year's Eve 2010. A great location as it is right on the main plaza of the town. A locked parking lot is a block away. The parking lot is behind a billiards hall (aka a pool hall), which might make some a little uneasy. With that said, I felt safe. The hotel's pool is very nice (a whole complex including a restaurant, bar, pool, parking) but it is a short car ride or moderate walk from the hotel. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby so you can put the car away and walk to most things. Personally, I was not fond of the hotel's restaurant (it wasn't bad, it just wasn't particularly good) and would suggest going out to find an alternative for each meal.

For us, the hotel was just a place to stay to enable us to be in Copan Ruinas for NYE and to visit the ruins (if you are in Copan Ruinas, you MUST go to the ruins) so it was fine. If you are going to spend alot of time in the hotel and expect luxury then this is not for you. FYI, the ruins are a short (less than 10 minute) drive from the hotel.

At the ruins, we hired an English speaking guide named Mauricio - I highly recommend him ($45 for 6 people for a 2.5 hour tour).

“Excellent location, price, and friendly service”

I visited Copan Ruinas with my mother and two nieces in mid-September. A friend had recommended this hotel for its central location, located across the street from the main plaza and close to nearby shops and restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel's quaint and charming ambience, the rooms surrounding its lovely courtyard in the middle, the lushness of the tropical plants and the art work of Honduran artists throughout the hotel. The rooms are ample, comfortable, and clean. The hotel offers free Internet service and there are two computers in the lobby for hotel guests. The swimming pool and disco are outside the hotel premises (about 6 blocks away); the price is a real bargain and the staff was very friendly and courteous.
