Stayed for a week. Very nice resort right on the water with free snorkel gear and kayaks. Clean Cabanas and a nice restaurant. Quiet and on the edge of the action in the West End. Staff was very friendly and helped us figure out the rest of our trip around Honduras. Great dive shop right next door.

Second visit at Half Moon Resort and I like as much as the last time. Thank you Mathild Rene and all the staff. Great location not to clos, not too far from the main drag. Good food, nice AC room and awsome private deck hammock. You can snorkel 100 feet from your room, or sit the sun. Anthony makes the best Monkey LaLas in Roatan.

We (couple, divers, mid 30´s, from Sweden, been going to Central America for a few years, visited in Nov 2011) loved the place.
A nice, secluded, restaurant-terrace over the water, with relaxed but attentive service, provided for tasty, calm, private breakfasts and dinners.
The quite large concrete-and-boulder hangout, sunbathing, swimming patio contained sunchairs, shading trees and a fresh water shower and snorkeling gear which were available for even over day-guests.
The dark wood-cabins were spacious and clean, and actually quite cool, due to the fan and the serious blinds, the shower was hot, the fridge worked and we had a private porch with a hammock, overlooking the patio and the sunset.
The staff were ambitious, attentive, relaxed and smiling.
This is a nice and quiet hang-out in the end of the beach, five-ten minutes walking distance from the "busier" middle of the beach, perfect for chilling out between dives, excursions or parties.

I have been going to this place for nearly 12 years now. It is really a hideway type venue. Good Island food, country cooking and excellent service. Owners are almost always on premises! Easy to get to, and locate close to the west end strip.
