“Off the tourist track to a true relaxing vacation”

Love Marble Hill Farms, truly a relaxing time. I hate leaving the country only to find resorts and restaurants that inspire to be like america. Marble hill really allows you to feel the Island and be on Island time. The accomadations are comfortable and the property is beautiful from the gardens to the top of the hill "Crow's Nest" Restaurant. Great Pizza and even better drinks. Bryan and Rebekah took very good care of us. We really enjoyed the time spent there and as much as I dislike returning to a destination when there are so many places to see, This was my second trip to Marble Hill and I will be returning. We were there in the rainy season and experienced several great days of sun and one day of the greatest rainstorm I have ever seen really cool seeing that on the ocen front.
We also can not mention Marble Hill without mentioning the extraordinary Tropical Island Divers, Pol and Ingrad made our stay truly great by taking the time to not only certify two divers for open water, but also take us on some truly amazing dives. Spearfishing Lion fish to helping my wife overcome her fear of the ocean and snorkel, Pol and Ingrad were there the entire time. Can not wait to get back and take the advanced water with them. What better place to get your C-Card.
This was a really affordable trip as well, We flew american on miles so the flight was free by getting an AA credit card. We then took a chartered van to the ferry, Very scary ride compared to driving in america, but well worth it. However I recommend taking a small plane either TACA or SOSA and soon to be another very afordable carrier. If not flying on miles however take continental for an easy trip straight to the island. We were able to make the ferry on the charter van but it was very close and I would not recommend it. We took a plane back to San Pedro on the return trip about $80 each. I am hoping to add some pictures as well but if it does not work check out facebook, Tropical Island Divers - Crows Nest or Marble Hill Farms page.

“Amazing Divemasters”

Just spent 9 days in Roatan, diving with Topical Island Divers. Pol and Ingrid are so awesome! Not only professional, but friendly. They definitely do not make you feel like you are just another number in their diving calendar, always taking the time to let you see everything you want, not rushing you. What a great team they make. We were so happy to dive with them all week. Miss you guys!

“Crows nest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012 via mobile

I didn't stay at the farm, but I did eat at the restaurant a few times. The food was really good, and the view/location was excellent. Rebekah, the bartender should be the tourism director for the whole island. She has to be the friendliest person on the island, and that's saying something.

“Very Relaxing”

My husband and I live on the island and just wanted to escape from work for a couple days. A friend reccommended this place so we went. We arrived very late however one of the managers, Ingrid was still awake to check us in and make sure we had everything we needed to get settled. The staff was very nice and accomodating.
We were in one of the cabins right out in front of the water. The bottom half of the cabin is all open except for a some netting wire that keeps all the insects out. I thought it was kind of cool because it makes you feel like you are almost outside. The cabin has all the basics you need, nothing fancy but well worth the price you will pay. Ac, hot water, purified drinking water and basic utensils. We did not get a chance to try the food from the restaurant but did eat breakfast a couple time which was nice. We also did the Jam tasting and bought a couple of them to take back with us.
Over all our time was just what we needed before the busy season ahead and we really were able to relax in the peace and tranquility Marble hill farms offers. We hope to go back again in the future. The only downfall for me was not having the internet signal reach out to the rooms. They do have it onsite but you have to go up to the main area to use it. Not a big deal though and kept me from working while on vacation.

“Outstanding Diving Experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

Just spent the last week diving at Tropical Island Divers with Pol, Ingrid, and Edward and it could not have been better! Their personal attention really helped me as a beginner diver and wannabe UW photographer. The East End location meant pristine Meso-American reef sites every day all to ourselves without the crush of dive boats and divers like on the West End. Already planning to go back!
