I've rated this hotel "average" simply because I was expecting "OK" and was quite surprised by the room quality and gracious employees.

As mentioned, the street noise can be a bit loud, however, we enjoy that energy so we requested a room right above Calle Santandar. The rooms were spotless, and the office staff very helpful. Kept our bags for us after checkout while we shopped and played in Pana.

We stayed in a huge corner room on the second floor with a table and chairs on the terrace. At the end of the night, we kicked back and watched Pana shut down. Watched it waking up in the morning as well. Paid Q250 for 2 people during mid-week for the room with two queen beds.

No problems at all with our stay in this hotel. If you're looking for something mid-range in Pana, have no fear when giving this one consideration.

This hotel was amazing and totally unexpected given its surroundings. It can be found about halfway along Calle Santander, the main road in Panachachel above a tour office and some shops. The rooms are huge, immaculately kept and have 2 huge, comfortable double beds. Some might find these minor details, but the T.V. has cable, the toilet paper is folded on the last sheet and the cleaning service will do something incredible with the hand towels should you happen to leave a dollar out for them. Its nothing to you, but it is most appreciated by them!! The shower is huge and always has hot water, which can be relief after a long day hiking up a volcano or a day trip over to one of the other towns. The only negative thing I would say about this hotel is it can be a little noisy at night, but it has nothing to do with the hotel, and more about its locality to the surrounding bars. If you're jetlagged enough or have enough sleeping pills you'll have a brilliant nights sleep. Also, if you're lucky enough to get some good weather and have no plans, the owners are always happy to let you out onto the roof where you can enjoy an incredible view of the lake and volcanos whilst soaking up the rays.
