The review in the Lonely Planet guide is very accurate - this hotel comprises of a strip motel part on the main street, but there are also rooms in the back which all open out onto a beautiful, peaceful garden complete with swingset for the kids. There is also a swimming pool and restaurant, which served up very good home cooking for our group. The rooms are nothing special and have that tired look common to this part of the world, but provided a basic and comfortable night for us. The location is very handy to the main drag that has all of the touristy vendors and is a short 10 min walk to the lake. Be sure to ask what time they turn the hot water on so that you do not find yourself in the shower with ice cold water!
