Personal safety and security are primary concerns in Guatemala City; everybody there has been robbed at gunpoint many times. So a safe place for travelers and their belongings is essential. Comfort is outstand for that--with a suberb system of security camers, an alarm system, room safes, and a careful staff.
The rooms are elegant and super-clean.
The staff is polite and ultra-helpful.
Location is Zone 10, which is much safer than other zones of the city, and a very short and cheap taxi ride from the airport.

Excellent low-cost option. Clean as a whistle, secure, quiet neighborhood with a mix of private homes and small business, near many NGO headquarters and government offices. Adequate security for females traveling alone. "Widow maker" type shower head so hot water temperature depends on water pressure, which was not the greatest at night. Walking distance to Oakland Mall. My NGO uses them regularly for business travelers. 15 min to airport with no traffic (very early a.m.) but with traffic, probably more like 30 min as is normal in central Guatemala City. Great service from late-night front desk staff. When I asked for Wi-Fi key they also provided a tray table for my laptop. Provides private driver as shuttle service to and from the airport for added security. Free Wi-Fi (key needed for access). Did not partake of meals in the dining room so can't review that service.
