Well, here is another in the very long line of 5-star reviews! We were celebrating our 35th anniversary with a special weekend trip from Amelia Island to Birmingham and we wanted to make it a leisurely “back roads” drive. We are B&B people, so naturally we looked for a good spot at the half-way mark. Bam, the Americus Garden Inn! Our outbound Friday night stay was so great that we booked Sunday night for our return. We were fortunate to get the Scarlett Room both nights and we absolutely loved it - spacious and one of a kind. Susan and Kim create an extraordinary breakfast experience - lovingly prepared food that is unique, healthful and delicious. The house, food, furnishings and garden are all very, very special, but the true test of a good B&B is the hospitality. Again, 5-stars! Susan and Kim gave us unbelievable attention and kindness. It’s easy to see why the Americus Garden Inn is consistently designated as a Travelers’ Choice Winner year after year and even easier to see why Kim and Susan are ranked “Best Innkeepers”. They epitomize the term. This is a “Destination B&B” for anyone thinking about a quiet getaway. We will make that leisurely back roads drive again - - just to have another night or two at Kim and Susan’s elegant Americus Garden Inn.

Dear Don and Peggy:
It is our pleasure to meet people like the two of you who remind us why we decided to embark on this B&B adventure 9 years ago. If we could rate our guests, you would be 10 plus stars!
In this fast paced world, it is sometimes hard to find the time to stop and "smell the roses". We are so glad you decided on a leisurely trip to and from Alabama, and, found the Americus Garden Inn.
Warmest regards,
Susan Egelseer
