Blue Belize is a small, quiet bread and breakfast, with a spectacular view of the sea. Everything about our stay there was pleasing--big comfortable beds, hot water, fruits and breads in the morning. The staff are friendly. It's perfect for relaxing, reading a book, or some solitude. We had fun riding around town on the bikes that are available at no charge. We traveled on a ferry from Guatemala. Punta Gorda is very relaxed and safe, with not much else to do. There's no beach nearby. We took a day-trip bus/boat to Palencia, which was a fun outing before we headed back home.

Blue Belize is a great place to stay in Punta Gorda! Everything you need in town is within walking distance.
The room we stay in was the Sea Star. It was very large and spacious and had a kitchenette with a full sized fridge, microwave, and two ringed hob. The kitchenette was well stocked with a good assortment of pots, pans and dishes. It even came compete with coffee pot, ground coffee, creamer and sugar.
The owner Rachel was most pleasant and her assistant Isabelle was very helpful during our stay. Each morning we had fresh juice, fruit and homemade bread that was delightful.
The atmosphere at BB is very inviting. The grounds are well maintained, and our room had a lovely balcony area that we could sit out and enjoy the sun rise in the morning.
I would highly recommend BB if you are planning a trip to Punta Gorda.

Blue Belize came highly recommended for my family on our trip to Punta Gorda .. and we were not disappointed! Lovely, custom designed and built premises that are large and airy with huge balconies where we sat with our children watching the sun rise over the ocean. The owner, Rachel, is a wonderful, detail-oriented hostess. Breakfasts of homemade sweet bread and tropical fruits were delivered to our door in the mornings. Overall, Blue Belize offered our family of 5 (with 3 young boys) a very comfortable and beautiful environment in which to enjoy our Belizean ocean and rainforest adventure. We'd highly recommend this guest house to others travelling to Punta Gorda.

stayed there for 12 days, had a great flat upstairs. bicycles with baskets are very handy for quick trips to the store, great mango bread, juice & fresh fruit in the am! very well run, friendly staff, great dogs. thanks rachael & isabelle, you gals were very helpful & thanks for recommending oneworldplacencia....am very relaxed robert
