“We keep coming back!!!”

We have now made 5 trips to Punta Gorda and keep returning to Sea Front Inn! First there is LOCATION!!! You couldn't ask for better, if you want a sea front view. In prior trips we have stayed in the hotel and were always pleased with our rooms, the service and the continental breakfast. The Staff and owners have always been helpful and courteous. The past 2 trips have been mostly spent in PG, so we rented one of the apartments in the back of the hotel. The Hicatatee Apartment is perfect for us. With the cooler weather, the ceiling fans and sea breeze has been sufficient without the A/C. The apartment with one bedroom, tiled bath, and all amenities is all that we need...now for you folks who are expecting the Hilton, you best stay in Punta Gorda, Fl., but if it is Belize that you want...I recommend the Sea Front Inn. We love it!!!

Room Tip: Rooms on the 2nd floor with Balconies or apartment with seafront verandas

“Relaxation Par Excellence Travelers Best Choice”

Arrived late afternoon from trip from the States to a welcome relaxed professional atmosphere. Greeted by Larry (Larry and Carol are the owners who are long term residents of the area knowledgeable in the language(s) and cultural aspects of the whole area). A definite plus in regards to advise for travelers. Larry recommended an excellent restaurant of a former Chef for the Radisson Hotel in Belize with Lobster and Shrimp dishes for my travel partner and I that should be on the best TV cooking shows and in World Class cookbooks. The large tiled shower stall and strong hot shower felt like heaven. Internet wifi, cable multi channel TV with American and local shows for anyone's liking. For the tropical heat, the A/C and ceiling fan together made for a wonderful restful sleep. The view of the ocean is the best for Punta Gorda's hotels and the continental breakfast overlooking the ocean was very pleasant. Great value especially as Larry and Carol and the hotel staff were very attentive to all of the guests needs. Will stay there again on my next visit to Punta Gorda!

“long term service to travelers”

I wanted to thank the staff of Sea Front Inn through this review for their long term service to travelers from around the world. I have been staying there for many years and they not only have inviting rooms and the best view of the water in Punta Gorda but the staff has always arranged in country flights and water activities for us, making our stay easier and more fun. The owners are long-terms residents making them more knowledgeable about the area and the local history than the more recently arrived resort owners. deb from Colorado

Room Tip: rooms on the 2nd floor have balconies.

“Excellent Stay. Fair Price”

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were awesome. It was a very good nights sleep after hard days of mission work. The continental breakfast left a little to be desired but was nicely arranged and clean. The hot water and powerful shower was a huge plus. Very nice place to stay. I will be staying there again.

Room Tip: Ask for the Iguana room. Very secure next to the office.

“Way too much to spend on this type of place.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 May 2011

We had no idea what to expect when getting to Punta Gorda. We were only staying one night on our way to Livingston. The room was same and minimal, and pretty clean, but SO not worth $70 a night. They claim to have breakfast free of charge in the morning, so we went upstairs where it was supposed to be. There was only coffee. We sat up there for quiet a while with the hotel staff coming and going and then the room started to fill up. We then realized there was going to be a class for some of the locals. When we went downstairs to ask about the breakfast, the girl at the front said "Well, I guess I could get you something. I saw you upstairs and was wondering what you were doing in the class." Why wouldn't you say something then??? There is not much in Punta Gorda. Small town.
