Sea spray hotel was fantastic. It was clean, had shampoo and conditioner and it was right on the beach. The beachfront Cabana that we had was awesome. you could look at the Ocean all day long from your private balcony. I would recommend getting a Cabana or Seaside rooms with the porch. It was right in the village so short walk to restaurants, tour groups etc. Desk clerks were friendly.

We stayed in a double economy room for BZ$58 per night. The room was tiny really to be honest. It had a ceiling fan which was non effective and one standing fan which we relied on heavily! The room was very stuffy. You couldn’t open a window so there was no chance of getting some air in. Sometimes we had to leave the main door to the room open so as to cool the room down.

There was a fridge in the room and you could also get WIFI. The bathroom was pretty standard and the shower had hot water. The room was cleaned daily and the bed was comfortable with comfortable pillows also. Storage was very tight but thankfully we could get our bags under the bed.

The main thing this hotel has going for it is its setting. It is set right on the beach in Placencia which is beautiful. The beach is amazing here and stretches for miles. It was great being able to literally walk straight on to the beach from our bedroom. The hotel provided loungers for the beach. There was also a nice garden area to the side of the hotel with tables and chairs.
The staff in the hotel were very nice and very helpful.

Overall, it probably was the best value for money in Placencia. We did look around but were unable to find a budget option with a private bathroom. I did see in to some of the more expensive rooms and they were much bigger and did seem quite airy so if you have that extra bit of money to spend it would be worth checking those rooms out.

Seaspray did the job and the location made the tiny stuffy room a bit more bearable but not sure if we could have stayed there for more than the four nights that we did.

We stayed here for two nights, the room didn't have a view or an outside seating area but their are seats by the sea you can use. The rooms are no frills but fine and cheaper than some of the b and b's near by. Wouldn't go here for a romantic time, but fine as a place to stop over, or end up in if you don't have a reservation.

The hotel is lovely and the staff is very kind and the most professional we met in Belize, at no matter what time or shift the receptionists were on they were all very kind and hands-on, by far our best hotel experience in Belize, and of course a fantastic beach, lovely clean beach furniture, smiles and friendly good fun- Seapray is just the best in Belize
