My night at Pal's guest house made me feel very lonely. It's good to read other travellers experiences. I was sure I was the only guest that night, or any night at Pal's. I had a room on the first floor looking out at the beach. The beach looked pretty, but wasn't great for swimming as the water was brackish. I got some takeout chinese food on the main street near the bus station and ate it on the little balcony/porch outside my room.

I wouldnt call the room bug infested, but there was a nice big locust in the bathroom.

Dangriga is definitely not tourist friendly. I wanted to visit the Cockscomb park but could find no tours going there, or any tours at all. The town had a creepy vibe though I met some very friendly people to chat with, so it wasn't all bad.

I spent 7 days at Pal's, and it was one of my most relaxing vacations EVER. It was like I had my own little private beach. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping was good. I like Pal's location because it's right on the beach I walk to the bus terminal for a short ride to the rain forest.

Pros:
Right on the beach.
Great location and right in town.
All rooms have balcony's right on the beach.

Cons:
At night the termites and roaches enter the rooms.
Stray dogs bark all night.
In the morning the birds wake you up.

I enjoyed my stay at PAL's Guest House. The location of the guest house and the staff made me enjoy my time there. The guest house sits right on the beach so I was able to watch the rising of the sun in the morning. Additionally, I was able to walk the beach and watch the local kids as they played.
The place was clean and cozy. It was a nice get away.
The staff was fabulous and were pleasant and eager to share information.
I would eagarely recommend PAL's to solo travelers or those travelling in a group.
