My son and I stayed at the Corozal Bay Resort in Cabana # 1 and were very pleased with the pleasant and peaceful surroundings. The views from the cabanna were great, the resturant was charming, quiet and had the best garlic butter shrimp I ever ate in my life!! The cabana was kept spotlessly clean and we were given clean towels and wash cloths each day.

My only word of caution is to leave the outside light off by the front door of the cabannas so the small gnats don't get in when you open the door. I wished that the pool would have been cleaner, as would have liked to have swam while we were there, but the pool had algae and those rotten small gnats floating on top of the water, so we refrained form using the pool. Other than that, we had a great stay with great food and great staff!

all i can say is check with trip advisor so you dont get ripped off like we did, stayed one night, and had no plans on staying there, after one night in hell... HERE WE GO' NO SOAP,TOWELS, TOLIET PAPER. lights and hair dryer out of order. made a comment to the owner , and he just laughted at us. if i wasnt so tired from the trip from the USA, and from the rain and my sore eyes (we arrived at night). we would of stayed some where else. animal dropping on the floor , bed some of the dropping were smeared on the so called vanity. we tryed to check out the next morning. the so-called manger or owner would not reimburse us for the blanace of our stay. and they had the nerve to call us scam artist. look who calling the kettle black. BEWARE

This was our third year staying there. And we are pretty finicky about acccomodations. Doug and Maria are great. They were there for us anytime we needed anything and always make us feel welcome. Great food even with the challenges of Christmas looming. Looking forward to our next trip, we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. Maria was extremely informative and hekped us in every way with great recommendations. All of her food recommendations were excellent, but some of the best food was from right there at the hotel. Talk about accomodating, my wife mentioned conch ceviche one night and Maria immediately went to the seafood store before it closed to get the conch to make it!! Maria, Doug and their son were great hosts and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The pool and grounds were clean and neat and the a/c in the room was perfect. Would we recommend this hotel? Ablolutely!!!
