“Wonderful hosts and staff”

We have done a lot of beach vacations so when we decided to go to Belize we wanted to start out with a jungle adventure. We picked the Jungle Dome and Green Dragon Adventure Tour and were not disappointed. The hosts, Andy and Simone Hunt made us feel like we were staying with friends and their staff are all very friendly. The excursions to Caracol, Belize River ride, zoo, and cave tubing were fabulous with wonderful guides. Cha Chem Ha Cave was a strenuous hike up and down muddy mountain trails - fun for hikers, but older people with bad knees, beware. The food at the Jungle Dome was first rate and Andy was on top of every detail of our tours. I highly recommend this vacation.

“Awesome locale, fabulous hosts!”

Thank god for Tripadvisor! We wanted a unique vacation in Belize. We wanted to start in the jungle, near some of the Mayan sites and so I did a search close to Belmopan and found the Jungle Dome. I booked 4 nights and two different guided trips, first to Carocal, and the amazing cave at ChaChem Ha. Thanks to our drivers from the Dome, David and Mynar we easily added a visit to Xunantunich and one more trip to St. Ignacio with its incredible market and Cahal Pech the oldest Mayan site in Belize. Andy and Simone were charming hosts, and the food of their Mayan cooks was wonderful. The gardens and pool were beautifully kept and the location was magical. Thanks again guys for the trip of a lifetime.

Room Tip: We had a pool side suite that was perfect.

“The perfect place for R&R”

I arrived at Jungle Dome with a large group. We had been doing volunteer work and were ready for some comfort. There was a beautiful full moon that night. We were all in awe, it was like arriving at BH with out any snobiness. Simone and Andy are fabulous host. The staff is great, the cooks are super outstanding. You can go bike riding, horse back riding, explore the flora and fauna or just relax by the pool in the hammock.

“Great Location and staff”

We stayed at the Jungle Dome for 5 days after our wedding on Ambergris Caye. The staff is wonderful. The food was great, like home cooking for every meal! It was an friendly relaxed setting with family style dining. We got to meet some great people who were travelling too. We went on a couple excursions, all arranged by the resort. They know which guides to use and the guides made our experiences truly memorable. I highly recommend staying at the resort if you are looking for a relaxed bed and breakfast type resort. The staff made us feel very comfortable and took great care of us and the 2 dogs were super friendly! The rooms we stayed in had a small sitting area attahced and were comfortable. The howler monkeys across the river were fun to try and catch glimpses of. Highly recommend the resort.

“An amazing vacation in the jungle”

We can't say enough wonderful things about the Jungle Dome and the people who live and work there. Our family of 10 did the 5 day surf and turf vacation and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The owners, Andy and Simone, made sure that everything was planned perfectly - from the zip lining and horseback riding through the jungle to the snorkeling expedition with sharks and stingrays on the coral reef. They made us feel right at home and we really enjoyed visiting with them over Belizean beer and rum filled coconuts. Everyone who worked at the lodge went out of their way to make sure that our stay was great - from the drivers who entertained us as we drove to daytrip activities (thanks to David for all the tropical plant and animal lessons) to the cooks that prepared the delicious, fresh and plentiful meals. The rooms were extra large and very clean and comfortable, and the lodge's grounds were beautiful, complete with banana trees by the pool and tropical birds. I can honestly say I have never had a vacation run more smoothly or enjoyed one more! Hopefully we'll get back in a few years to try another one of the vacation packages.
